Rude staff - Edit
I come here often to get cinnamon rolls for my coworkers and myself because the rolls are great. However, during my visit today, I had a very uncomfortable experience.
Read moreWhen I came in and asked for 5 rolls, the young lady taking my order hesitated before saying yes and asked if I could call my order in ahead of time next time, which I completely understood and agreed to do. She then asked me to have a seat while she boxed them up and said she would bring them to me.
Shortly after, a group of people came in that she clearly knew. She greeted them warmly and even called someone on speakerphone to let them know they had arrived. While speaking with them, she said, “We only have 2 rolls left because someone else bought them, and I wanted to tell them no because we need them for y’all.” Since it’s a very small business, I could clearly hear the comment.
I sat quietly because, at that point, I already knew I would not be returning. She then began taking the group’s coffee orders while I continued waiting for the bag she had already tied and set aside. After waiting for some time, I finally walked up and asked for my order myself before leaving.
The entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and as though I had inconvenienced her simply by placing my order. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning.
Pros: Cinnamon rolls are great
Cons: Rude staff , Unwelcomed environment
