Four stars for the lasagne - Edit
The four stars is solely for the amazingly tasty vegetable and pesto lasagne, it was perfectly saucy (but not tangy) and cheesy (melted so well) very impressed. Huge serve but at a disgusting $37.00 you would want it to be. It really annoys me that the vegan option is either on par with or more expensive than the animal option.
Read moreI've been a couple times before to this and the Hawthorn branch and never could understand why it's raved about, or justify the high prices for pretty standard fare (at best).
The last time I went to Point Cook for their overpriced bland mushroom linguine, the waitress asked directly if I would like to tip. I've never been put in this position before and was very hesitant to say no to her face, and seeing my hesitation, she even said "just $1 is ok". I didn't tip and was very put off by the experience.
This time, they skipped past the tip question, thankfully. The service was good this time, although we did wait an hour for the food as they were very busy, no warning or apologies.
- baked gnocchi: really good, not baked, more like panfried, with blobs of cheese
- chips - yummy aioli
- mushroom linguine: nice mushrooms, good creaminess, bland
- potato pizza: great woodfired base/crust, bland, with blobs of white cheese
- macaroni - good, bit salty
- mushroom risotto - liked it
Pros: lasagne
Cons: everything else bland or not worth the price, extremely pricey , long wait time for food when busy

The prices are really expensive now.
Read moreAlso, they force you to agree/disagree with a tip option at check out. Either guilting you into tipping, or appearing to be a cheapskate.
We are in Australia and we pay our hospitality staff enough wages. Tipping is a US thing.
Last time we went - 1 vegan entree, 1 vegan pasta, 1 non-vegan pasta and one soft drink cost us $102 with 10% tip.

Separate vegan menu - felt like a vegan restaurant - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu, making it super easy to choose and not question if the dish is vegan or not. Tried a couple of the pastas, starters and dessert (dessert was huge). Great tasting food! And the atmosphere is nice.
