Over average lunch with great taste! - Edit
One vegan option with great taste but not the funniest composition. Friendly staff fixed vegan bread to the dish.

Too much for too little - Edit
Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely restaurant! It has a beautiful view of the harbor and sea, the staff was friendly, and the food tasted good enough. But 250 kronor for what was basically a small salad felt a little outrageous. They clearly didn't have anything vegan outside of vegetables, and the visit left me hungry after about an hour again, now with a much emptier wallet.

Cons: Very expensive, Menu doesn't list anything vegan , Didn't see any falafel or hummus or anything

Upscale Beach restaurant - Edit
Restaurant Sand keeps getting better for each year with their vegan options!
Read moreWhen we first arrived, they asked if we were the party of 4 vegans that were there yesterday...we said that we were not and the server promptly responded that they wanted to make sure they didn't offer the same dish twice in case we were there the day before!
This time, we got an awesome green salad for starter, and a quite delicious main course with falafel, grilled carrots, onions and Jerusalem artichoke, pickled onions, grated beets and alfalfa sprouts.
Their fries are vegan (meaning they cook them in vegetable oils without also cooking any animal products in the same oil!) and they were crisp tasty as well!
Great place to people watch, and enjoy the fresh sea breeze from the beach nearby.
