Outstandingly helpful staff and wonderful vegan(ized) food - Edit
Only two items are/were labelled as vegan on the menu: one soup (cream of tomato) and one starter (tofu spring rolls), but our waiter was optimistic that many vegetarian dishes could be made vegan. I cannot praise him highly enough for the care and effort he put into confirming and recommending what we could have.
Read moreOur friends had vegetarian dishes which they were extremely enthusiastic about (chanterelle pizza bianco and chantarelle risotto).
We vegans had the tofu spring rolls (I'd call them summer rolls) which were absolutely delicious though messy to eat, and the bean and potato burger, which is vegan without the bun, and was a seriously good burger meal (including the salad, garlic soy mayonnaise and outrageously good fries).
Would definitely come back and would love to see them make their menu more (explicitly) vegan friendly.
