Yeah, Come here! - Edit
Yum!! If you are in the Philadelphia metro area, make a journey out to the western 'burbs to find this adorable, tiny restaurant. My sister had the raw taco salad and I ordered a chiken salad wrap (and got a chiken salad sandwich) but DEE-lish!!!! No biggie. We also ordered green cleanser (?) juice.. it was nice, reasonably priced in today's fresh juice world. BUT the most AMAZING surprise were the home-made raw crackers (one served with the taco salad) another flavor that we purchased ( a bit pricey) but WOW...I can't wait to come back...enjoy!!

permanently closed - Edit
I wasn't sure how else to let people searching on HC know that it appears that Raw Can Roll has permanently closed. I drive by often (but hadn't been in for a while) and recently noticed signage missing and then the window looked empty. I just googled them, and it has them listed as "permanently closed". RIP Raw Can Roll 💔 thank you for being a provider of delicious, healthy, compassionate food.

Success at raw can roll cafe! - Edit
This place is truly great. Large portions. Owner who took and made my order went above and beyond to make me happy and feel at home. I tried out the Mexican taco salad which was easily one of the best salads I've had. It features amazing sauces. Also tried a slight spin on the BBQ bowl which was also very good. I didn't know which smoothie to order and the nice owner helped me out and offered to make me something he thought I'd like, I in fact loved it and would say it was the best if not in my top 3 smoothies I've had in my own life. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who has a keen pallet for good food and enjoys over the top customer service.

I Have Loved Everything On The Menu I Have Tried - Edit
Next to Whole Foods. Great food. Find it very relaxing reading the vegan books they have there while enjoying the food. Sprouted Sunflower Hummus, Thai Spring Rolls, and Pad Thai are my favorites.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Ordered the Thai Spring Rolls and Pad Thai which were ok, not amazing but at least it was healthy. It may be tough to do a raw menu full of flavor.

Cozy raw cafe - Edit
Cafe has a couple tables in front and a couple side tables. Really set up for takeout. We are in. Most of the menu is glutenfree accept for the sprouted bread. The kale salad was fresh and the dressing was had a tang. I enjoyed the macro "bowl" it was a little different that was use to first it was served on a plate. It was more like a rice plate with beans and tahini sauce with nori on top. Was not crazy about the "alfredo pasta". It was a totally raw dish so if you like cashew sauce with zucchini you may like it. The BLT was smoother with mayo. May want to ask for on the side. The server was very friendly and made suggestions.

Good food (not amazing), bad atmosphere - Edit
I had the tempeh Blt wrap in spinach wrap. It was ok, but smothered in what I figured was a “mayo”. I’d ask for it less smothered next time. I tried their balsamic dressing with this (I know, weird. But I love balsamic and just wanted to know!) but it was watery, no creaminess at all. Unfortunately, this place is not clean. And if you look up their last health check there are 3 violations, and that was A follow up! Before; there was 5.. i wouldn’t jump to go back here. Good for fresh food, but I get the sense that fresh food is kept in a dirty fridge which turns me off. Peanut butter cup smoothie was okay, not delish. Chocolate peanut butter ganache was delish! Oh, and the floor was literally sinking around the two tables lol. Not good.

Dissappointed - Edit
Visited with my mom. I got a BLT with Avocado and she got a green smoothie she thought tasted mostly like lemon which she did not finish. My BLT was super salty and oversaturated with a mystery white sauce. The veggies in it were fresh and the avocado was delicious, but way too salty. We also had a ganache dessert and the owner gave us a dessert cup on the house. My mom had the macrobiotic bowl or something like that. The sweet potato piece in it was delicious, the seaweed seemed pretty random, but the rest of it all tasted like the fake cheesy/cream sauce it was soaked in which was really gross. Huge portion for the bowl which would have been nice except I was not a fan of the flavor. The ganache was delicious but very very rich so it can be savored over a few days as opposed to minutes. Our total was $45 which I thought was a little crazy for a small sandwich, one entree, a dessert and one drink at an ok cafe. I just felt bad because I wanted to love the place so much. I will go back with the hope that our food choices were just poor menu options and maybe something else on the menu will actually be good??

Great Restaurant - Edit
We really liked that the restaurant was so affordable and healthy. The restaurant was located near a whole foods. They have parking in front of the restaurant for 3 cars. The inside has two 4 person tables. The owner was very kind and friendly. Their menu is also very extensive.
Read moreMock Chicken Salad: this seemed a bit more like a mock fish salad. It had a lot of celery. I really don't like celery and would have opted for a different dish had I realized beforehand. It was very large and I couldn't finish it. Next time I'll order a different dish, this one was just okay.
BBQ Bowl: this did not have BBQ sauce but rather BBQ seasoning. It was nice. The sweet potato was amazing on it. I would have preffered a BBQ sauce and less rice. It was very large and I couldn't finish it. I would try a different dish next time.
Barre 3 Smoothie: we opted for no agave. We really enjoyed this smoothie. It was still very sweet without agave. We also prefered the coconut milk in this as opposed to almond milk.
Peanut Butter cup Smoothie: we subbed almond butter and no agave. We enjoyed it although preferred the Barre 3 smoothie.
We liked what we got but would order something different next time (apart from the smoothies). I think other items on the menu are probably better.
Restroom: The restroom was not gendered. There is one stall. There is a step at the door to the restroom. The restroom had plant based hand soap. The restroom could definitely have been cleaned.
Pros: Affordable , Friendly owners
Cons: Dirty restroom , Building not in the best shape

Fresh and tasty - Edit
We ordered the taco burrito and it was phenomenal, very flavorful and had great texture. The Macrobiotic bowl had an overpowering flavor of what we think tasted like liquid smoke? Could have been the miso but I usually love miso and this tasted different. Might be more of an acquired taste. The chocolate banana peanut butter smoothie was great, too!

This place is the very best vegan cafe in tthe Philadelphia area and its not close. Small, unassuming, easybto miss but the food is spectacular. Ultra fresh, organic, unique recipes, amazing salads, and the best real food smoothies I’ve had anywhere. Opposite of the chain “healthy” chains. This is the real deal. 5 stars!!

Awesome Meal and Atmosphere - Edit
The owner/chef/waiter is quite energetic with just the right amount of crazy to make it an experience. Had lunch here every day during this business trip. Vegan for 3 years now. Hard to find good/interesting meals traveling around the country. This place will be on my list for return visits to this area.

Ooh baby I like it Raw!!! - Edit
I absolutely loved my taco salad, it was fresh and filling but also very light on my stomach, and the mock taco meat was one of the best mock meats I’ve ever tasted period. My fiancé got the barbecue bowl, he loved it and said it filled him up and he has a nice sized appetite. The place is small but very welcoming, and the person who took our orders and made our food was such a nice person, not sure if he’s the owner or not, but I loved that fact that he asked us how our food was and offered to sign us up for emails with discount coupons on our next visit to the store. All in all, the food was great, the service was great, the experience was great!!

Not just raw - Edit
Very small unpresuming place with delicious food. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is very tasty. Most of the menu is raw (I had the pad thi with zucchini noodles) but they also have rice bowls and burritos (my husband had the burrito, which was great). They also had hot soup which was wonderful on a cold and rainy day.

Great - Edit
I've had the chicken wrap twice and it still amazes me. The salad dressings are phenomenal; I have yet to find a balsamic vinegarette as amazing as raw can roll. However, I did give this place 4 stars because you receive a small quantity of food for a pretty unreasonable price.

Very Good - Edit
In from Virginia on business and had to get away from the chain restaurants that think vegans just want 2 carrots on a pile of pasta covered in ragu. Worth the drive! Hummus is great and the burrito bowl was amazing. Very filling with great flavor. Small unassuming store front with not a ton a seating but get to go, won't be disappointed.

Great food - Edit
I've been to many vegan/veg friendly cafes. This one is special. The vegan taco salad was fresh and crisp and seasoned thoughtfully - the creamy salsa sauce was tangy as were the veggie crumbles 'tacolicious.' It's a small place with limited seating but obviously a labor of love for the cook(s).
Read moreI'm always in search of an exceptional smoothie and raw can roll's peanut butter cup was one of the best of an increasingly common flavor combination - I added hemp protein cacao and chia seeds - but it was the deep chocolate flavor that grabbed attention - perfect icy treat on a hot August day

I went here a few months ago but never wrote a much deserved review. Unfortunately I don't remember what I order but it had a lot in it: beans rice seaweed... It was really good. I got a really good smoothie too. Only downside was the size inside but it didn't really bother me. Its a good 45 minutes from me but I will be back.

Healthy and made with love - Edit
My husband and I do a lot of traveling and are both vegan. While in the area for a conference, we checked this place out. Enjoyed the creamy ranch and crouton kale salad and the macro bowl (actually a plate)! When they first came out, I didn't think the presentation was great, but the flavors more than compensated. You could tell the ingredients were incredibly fresh -- and we live in California where produce is fantastic. Would definitely come back. Bonus: right next to Whole Foods.

Raw Can Roll - Edit
I decided to order food from here for take out. The inside is small, so take out would be the best thing to do for me.
Read moreI ordered the appetizer version of the Thai Vegetable Rolls and the Macrobiotic bowl. They were delicious! I got three vegetable rolls, and a box full of beans, sweet potatoes, rice, tofu, seaweeds, and spinach, and maybe some other things I am forgetting. Pros: Good foos
Cons: somewhat pricey
