What a great find! - Edit
Omg. Every time we can find a reason to stop here we do! Great coffee (which is almost impossible to find for my fussy wife), amazing food (the lasagne is delicious), generous portion sizes and such helpful staff. We even had our wedding cake made here and it was extraordinary.

Raw and Misleading - Edit
The venue in Redcliffe was super sweet in a terrific location close to the beach. The interior was charming and provincial. The sign out front proudly proclaimed "Plant Based" The food selection contained specials from curries to raw food pastries. Unfortunately, when I asked the owner behind the counter if her business was 100% vegan, she replied yes. Having fallen for this three times in SEQ within a fortnight, I asked for clarification. "No dairy milk for coffee." Her countenance changed.

"Are you planning to give it up someday in the future?"
"Probably not, we have a lot of clients who bring friends in who want dairy milk."
"That's too bad. See you later."
I truly hope they reconsider their financial culpability of the animal breeding, slavery and infanticide of bovines before claiming themselves vegan or plant-based so I can update this review someday and patronize their business. Not sure what's so difficult to understand about cows not growing on trees or their reproductive fluids not being plant based.
Left feeling raw.
Peace!
Pros: nice location, big menu, and cute interior
Cons: misleading signage, willful animal abuse, and no plans for correcting either.

Do you shop in Supermarkets?

Yes. The Green Edge in Brisbane. A vegan grocery. Check it out! However, I suspect you mean why not boycott supermarkets as often as practicable in addition to anti-vegan restaurants which sell prepared food for convenience and recreation? You should be able to figure that out for yourself, but the answer is simple. Dining in a restaurant is a choice. Eating is not. 🤦♀️
