Beware of fake reviews on Google - Edit
Came to this place because of the reviews, which mentioned that the shop has a vegetarian menu etc.
Read moreWhen I got there, I was the only customer. It was around 6:30 pm I think (peak dinner hours, don't you think?).
The 'vegetarian menu' was a slight note stuck to the wall with the English words saying there is a limit of 5 vegetarian meals made per day. It doesn't describe what's sold, what the ingredients are. It doesn't even have a name.
Since I was hungry I took a chance and decided to eat whatever the owner made. Apparently he just threw whatever vegetables he could find and that's it.
After another one of these fake reviewed restaurants, my impression is that shops that primarily sell non-vegetarian food offer vegetarian versions as an afterthought. From now on I expect these to be significantly worse than the non-veggie versions. Seriously consider konbini food instead, those are way better.

Surprising Countryside Ramen Option - Edit
Appreciated the beer & vegan ramen in this remote area. Clue was to ask the owner as the vegan option is off-menu. Chunks of kabocha squash featured nicely. Cash only
