A new vegetarian place on the island offering a variety of Thai dishes for reasonable prices, huge portions and always full of proteins (tofu, mushrooms, soy protein). They try to use as much organic as they can (or at least sink the veggies before cooking). We've been here for 5 times as a family and really enjoyed the food (the best Thai soups, curries, etc). Owners are super friendly - feels like at home.

Finally Lamai has an affordable vegetarian/vegan Thai place with looots of options. Owner cooks herself😄Simple restaurant, felt very welcome here (even with our dog). Strong coffee. Will be back for sure. Fresh spring rolls peanut sauce to die for!!!! Must try!!

I went with a friend, we tried the massaman curry and the phad kra pao with textured proteins, mushrooms, and tofu. Both dishes were very pleasant and tasty!!
Portions are quite generous which is a plus.

Best thai restaurant in the world - Edit
All is plantbased, no msg, no added suggar, super super tasty, generous portion with countless differents ingredients, different greens, mushrooms, plantproteins sources, etc. All that made with true love by Yui. She is exceptionnal. She is holding the whole restaurant by herself. We went eating there every night for one month and never got bored as the menu offer lots of various choices. Also, she is so attentive. One day she hear you saying you like/dontlike something. She will adapt for you the next day. Thank you Yui for all the love. We will come back.

This was some of the best Thai food I have had here. I strongly recommend the noodles with tofu. Coconut shake was also delicious. People here are super nice (patrons and owners).

This is a chef dedicated to healthy vegan food! and she deserves our support!
Don’t be in a hurry though: this is “slow-vegan” as sometimes the owner often wears four hats (waitress, host, cook, prep-cook).
Pros: very nice ingredients and preparation., good-sized shareable portions, used cashews instead of peanuts in massaman curry.
Cons: not a con, but it can take a bit long if it's busy

We stumbled across this place after having travelled for 14 hours. The food was made fresh to order with fresh produce. Gorgeous vegan smoothies that were so refreshing served alongside delicious wholesome curries! Such a nice way to start our holiday. Such good value for money. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!

We have a very specific diet which means we usually struggle to find anywhere that can accommodate but the owner was more than happy to make everything for us as requested since everything is prepared and cooked FRESH! We were very impressed with the quality of service and the food was second to none! Absolutely fantastic. We will be coming back for the remainder of our stay on the island.

This is only my personal taste but the food was not good. The lady is doing all by herself which is a lot of work but it took hours to be served. So I was expecting something well cooked. I had the fried rice with tofu and vegetables. Maybe just unlucky!

The service was slow because she worked alone as her partner was away. Even with the slow service, the food was worth the wait.
The restaurant is spotless!! Cleanest place in Koh Samui.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant in the village of Lamai on Koh Samui. The menu is extensive, many vegan dishes. The lady makes everything herself on the spot. Very fresh, but you have to wait a while. That waiting is rewarded, the food is nicely served and tasty. We received extra soup made from seaweed. Really super. And also melon with beautiful edible flowers.

En ook meloen met een mooie eetbare bloemen.

Opened Oct. 2019, offers a wide range of vegan options. I had a vegan squid, mushroom, tofu and green bean dish, which came with black rice and a veggie broth. All was delicious. I think it was about 100 baht. I was also given a free fruit platter.
