I had the vegan mixed appetizer platter and for the main course Bali Satay. For dessert I had the almond crepes with chocolate ice cream. Everything was tasty. The arrangement of the dishes is creative, I really enjoyed it.

Great Food, could be more vegan friendly - Edit
Food was creative and delicious and service was also great. The only downside in my opinion is, that there a not too many vegan options compared to other vegetarian restaurants. This could be improved. It is definitely a little pricy not for everyday, however, I recommend it would go again.

Huge recommendation! Really worth the way. Everything is vegetarian with lots of creative and delicious vegan options. Really tasty with the right amount of spices. Some more traditional meals "veganized", but also curries, or algae salads, desserts... A little too much oil in some dishes for my taste but there's something for everyone. And the staff will go out of it's way to help customize!

We had them cater for a family celebration, too - and everybody, including the meat eaters, loved it!
12/2022: Prizes aren't cheap, but quality is still excellent, well worth it once in a while!

Ich war schon einige Male im Radieschen, auch als ich mich noch vegetarisch ernährt habe, da ist die Auswahl dann doch deutlich größer als für Veganer.

Preislich auch eher im gehobenen Segment.

The Radieschen was the first completely vegetarian restaurant i Knew in the rhine/main area. Long before vegan and vegetarian lifestyle became that popular. The ambience of the restaurant is very lovely. Also the staff is very nice. I haven‘t been there for a few years, since last weekend. It‘s still a very good restaurant and i like it very much. The prices are a little bit higher. The main courses are about 18/19 €. But it‘s worth the price. I had the bali satay and the vegan crêpe. Both was very delicious. The servings could be bigger.

Geschmacklich war es ganz Ok, wobei das Gemüse für meinen Geschmack viel zu süß zubereitet wurde. Die Portion war schön dekoriert, aber recht übersichtlich und bestand zu 90% aus Reis. Leider wurde uns nach dem Verzehr etwas schlecht. Das hatte ich sonst noch bei keinem Restaurant.

So lecker habe ich selten gegessen! Eine tolle Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten aus aller Welt. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön, besonders der Außenbereich. Den Service muss man außerdem unbedingt erwähnen, die Bedienungen waren alle unfassbar freundlich! Klare Empfehlung.

Read moreEvery piece of food is our together with obvious love and care, and they have lots of unusual ideas of what to do with veg. A lot of it is vegetarian rather than vegan but you can get vegan versions of most things. I wish they replaced the dairy cheese with vegan cheese if you ask fur the vegan options, though. Instead they leave out cheese or replace with homemade salsa, which isn't quite the same

Prices are quite high here - a dinner plate will cost you around 18 €. They definitely want to give you that haute cuisine-feeling, with tiny "Greeting from the kitchen"-starters on the house, artistically arranged food and overly friendly waiters. I'm not really into that, but the food alone makes this restaurant worth a visit.
Read moreI had heard they serve classical 80s-style vegetarian kitchen with a lot of typically German dishes. But the owners have since changed and the menu is now quite international. Mind you, in a very well curated way. The options all sound so appetizing, you'll find it hard to choose. In the end, everyone at our table was happy with theirs.
They put a lot of effort in creating dishes that are out of the ordinary and use spice combinations that stand out. There are a lot of vegan options, too. I have to say their cuisine seems anything but lean. My own dish could have been less oily and salty, but overall, we left with a good impression.
The restaurant area in the front yard is nicely done, the view on the street is a bit bleak, though.
If you can afford the prices or want to impress someone, this is a good choice.
