Great falafel - Edit
Great falafel place off Robertson Road with little chairs and tables outdoors as well as indoor options.
Read moreThey serve vegan falafel salad bowls and falafel pitas. Their chips are amazing - I usually don’t eat chips but I make an exception at this place because they are so good. You need to ask for vegan tahini sauce instead of the aioli.
It’s a great place for brunch / lunch while sitting in the sun and watching the world go and people shopping on Robertson Road. They play nice music which adds to the vibe. It feels like it’s the weekend even during the week.
They are open some evenings for drinks too in summer.
They also serve coffee and breakfast but the breakfast menu doesn’t have any vegan options unfortunately. I believe they can make an eggplant dish vegan for breakfast if you ask them (I haven’t tried it yet but asked before), the staff is really friendly and accomodating.
Unfortunately they are closed on Mondays when I often feel like falafel for lunch (I work from home most days) but that’s really fair enough to close one day a week.
Pros: Great falafel (salad bowl and pita), tasty chips, Outdoor seating in the sun under the trees , Kombucha in different flavours and coffee
Cons: No vegan dishes on breakfast menu, need to ask, Closed on Mondays
