The buffet spread is fantastic and with lots of options to choose from.
Authentic Buddhist Chinese cuisine with only vegetarian options.
Great place will visit again

Cheap, but rather tasteless

If you have been to any other similar Buddhist style buffets in China, you should have a pretty good idea what to expect. If you have not, then it's best to go in with low expectations.

Don't expect nuanced flavors, or spices. There is a large selection of otherwise identical tasting dishes. The flavor profile and seasoning amounts to oily and salty, or bland and flavorless. I am not sure why, but vegetarian restaurants in China seem to be utterly afraid to use any seasoning. Just drown everything in oil, and boil any vegetable beyond recognition into an indistinguishable mush.

On the other hand, it's a vegetarian buffet in Yiwu, and only costs 20 Rmb for dinner.

Pros: All you can eat for 20 rmb, Large selection

Cons: Not much flavor, Can be busy and hard to find seats
