This is the only fully vegan restaurant in town but is such a good one! Incredible food at excellent prices and huge portions with lovely attentive staff too. A must when you visit Chania.

Read moreCarrot lox bagel is DIVINE. Don't expect mock salmon though, it's nothing like it but rather its own thing.
Beetroot carpaccio is a perfect combination of flavours, very well marinated as the beets are thinly sliced.
Lavash pizza pie is a bit like lahmacun, interesting spices but don't expect a real pizza.
Moussaka was my least favourite, although it was also great. It was soft and creamy, almost sweet, with hints of cinnamon.

Sooooo lecker. Und soooooo viel Auswahl. Alle sind super nett. Es gibt sogar zwei Sorten alkoholfreien Wein. Leider so weit weg von unseren Hotel, sonst wären wir vermutlich jeden Abend im Pulse gewesen.

We came here because of the amazing reviews. The food was okay, but we were expecting something more. However if you're walking around Chania, it's probably the best option.
Read moreOf what we ordered, we didn't really like the dessert (carrot cake) because of the white icing it had on top. The moussaka was okay (not the best vegan moussaka I tried), the appetizers however were both amazing.
Pros: one of the only 2 vegan restaurants in Chania, appetizers are really good

We ate here twice during our stay in Chania and I wish I'd remembered to take photos of every dish! The food was unreal, so delicious. I highly recommend ordering different things to each other so you can try more!
Read moreThe first time we got two special - carrot fritters and carrot lox. The fritters and dip were incredibly flavourful and dense, and the carrot lox was witchcraft. It was light and tasty, the carrot cooked to perfection until it was like smoked salmon in texture. The cashew cream cheese underneath on the giant bagel (Koulouri Thessalonikis, looks like a frisbee) was amazing. I had red wine beefless casserole and my partner had moussaka. Both delicious! .
The next day we returned for tricolour potato cakes, mushroom carpaccio, pulse mushroom special and the pasta of the day (an amazing courgette and squash flower ravioli in white sauce). We saved room for dessert and had carrot cake and berry cheesecake. There's too many delicious options not to fill yourself up so much you have to roll back to the hotel!

We visited Pulse having read the reviews on here, wow, it was amazing. We had the carrot lox, mushrooms, seaweed salad and potato cakes, every one of them was delicious, we also had the cheesecake for dessert which was also lovely. Unfortunately for us it’s a 2 hr 45 min drive from where we are based but if you are anywhere near you should definitely go, it’s worth the journey!

We popped in on a Saturday afternoon. Excellent service in a nice location with a sea view. The carrot lox and carrot/apricot croquettes were exceptional starters. For mains we had the beefless casserole and moussaka. Very tasty, but also very filling and as a lunch we should have probably had something lighter. Good selection of drinks and desserts. The greek coffee is tasty too. A gem!

We visited Pulse Vegan and had a really enjoyable meal. We started with the Mushroom Carpaccio, followed by the Red Wine Meatless Beef Casserole and Moussaka for mains.

Amazing! Best food I've had in western Crete. - Edit
I don't know why but when I read the listing the first time, this place didn't catch my fancy. One night I decided to stop in for a smoothie to walk along the ocean with. Reading the menu and seeing other people's food changed my mind and I stayed for supper - it was awesome. I came back the next day for lunch. The green smoothie is great, the pizza was really special and delicious. Portions are great. One super bonus here is you can actually eat vegan food with protein that isn't chickpeas! If you're hesitating, I recommend going by and looking at what people are eating. Note: it's a bit slow to pay, if you're in a rush deal with that early.

This little gem of a restaurant is set back from the main hustle and bustle of the harbour but still with wonderful views. The food was phenomenal and the portions were great! We left with very full tummy’s and a promise to go back and try the other things on the menu that we couldn’t fit in! Highly recommend and we will definitely be heading back before our holiday ends.

Visited this evening. My wife and I had the beetroot carpaccio, Manchurian balls for starters followed by the moussaka and the stew for main. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the location was lovely. Plenty of choice and well executed.
