Even the rice has butter - Edit
This isn’t really a vegan-friendly place. They were able to do mushroom and zucchini tacos. They put cheese on everything (guacamole, black beans) but can leave that off. But their rice is made with butter and they can’t/won’t do it vegan. Even with notice.

Read moreI want to just start out by saying I don’t mind paying extra for good food. As someone who also lives in a tourist area, I get high prices. But this was something else entirely, especially given the lack of flavor here. They have very few vegan options as well.
The vegan taco is $10 a taco and they recommend you buy 3 of them. To make it a meal you pay an extra $4 for beans and rice, but vegans beware the rice has butter and you have to ask for no cheese on the beans. The mocktail I got legitimately tasted like a sprite and was $14. The chips tasted like they were out of a bag and so did the tortilla for the taco. The salsa was near flavorless. Then they tack on a 4% surcharge claiming it’s to pay their workers a fair wage (just add it to the price don’t try to market it to get customer sympathy) while still accepting tips. Again, high prices aren’t a problem if the food is good, but the food isn’t good.

Reviews are correct, there could be more options and the options that they do have could be more satisfying if they incorporated a plant-based protein. But the options they do have are tasty enough to do a job.

No vegan main dishes , no vegan cheeses, no vegan meats, no vegan crema, no vegan sauces, and no vegan aioli, etc. Even the black beans and rice dish was NOT vegan. A corporate choice I guess!
We had to go here to attend a corporate event. If you’re vegan and you’re hungry, I don’t think you will appreciate this place.

I was excited thinking they had a vegan menu. No but they have a menu, that they take things off of dishes to make them vegan for you. Only vegan options on the menu is Guacamole and a salad.

The tacos were good and original. Never had any like them before. $15 for 2 À la cart tacos though! Luckily the chips and salsa were amazing and free. I filled up on those.
