Vish and Chips Friday - Edit
It’s really cute here and perfect for a quick pit stop for some tasty food. I even liked the tar tar sauce which I don’t usually. It wasn’t Chippy chips but still really good and good value for money🌱

Fish and chips for vegans - Edit
This place doesn’t look amazing but they make up with their range of amazing fish-like products including traditional fish and chips and much more. Very filling and good portions too! And they have some of the best cauliflower wings I’ve ever had!

Full of flavour - Edit
Some people below commented that the vish was not fishy enough and I stick to the opinion. It lacked some "sea" taste. However, overall the food (the vish and cauliflower wings) were extremely flavourfull and tasty. For me, it is a must-try when in Dublin.
Read moreI only would recommend to order to take away, as the place itselft is not very welcoming and the fumes and food smell are not being extracted enough.

Nothing special - Edit
Went there because of good recommendations, but was disappointed. Vish wasnt "vishy" at all.
Read moreI recommend that you put some nori or kelp in the mixture and some capers.

Average at best - Edit
The vish is sub par really if you've ever had vegan fish pretty much anywhere outside of Dublin. The chips were good.

Wonderful fish and chips! - Edit
I’m not normally a big fan of vegan meat substitutes but I ADORE the fish and chips here, the vish tastes genuinely authentic and while not being loaded with preservatives. The twice cooked fries are also really tasty but not excessively oily as many chipper chips can be. I always order the smoky vish and chips but I have also tried the carrot hot dog and the vish burger. Overall in terms of mains I’d stick to the vishy products as that’s what they excel at. I hope to be back soon to try the cakes!

One of the best - Edit
One of the best vegan options in Dublin. Currently doing takeaway and delivery also for Veginity, so there’s lots of choice on the menu. The food is very fresh and there’s plenty of healthy options if you’re looking for something other than “fast food”.

i had the viginity burger with chips, my boyfriend had the vish and chips and everything was very good! they also had some very good looking cookies and cake there but we didn't get to try those. it's a bit pricey but definitely worth it if you're craving greasy and delicious fast food ;)

A bit disappointing - Edit
Read moreI went here last weekend and had high expectations after looking at their instagram. I had the vish burger and loaded chips with wing sauce. Both were nice but for €11 I was expecting much better. The burger was nice but the salad on it made it quite mushy. The chips were ok, defo not worth €5.
The shop was a little bit grimy and the table was sticky.. I wouldn't go back to be honest.
Pros: Good choices
Cons: Grimy , Uncomfortable seating, No bathrooms

Vegan junk food - Edit
Not only vish but also other options like burgers, hot dogs, wings and sides. Their cauliflower wings are really great and burgers are nice. It’s not for everyone because it’s quite heavy but it’s supposed to be junk food and it hits the spot when you are hungry with generous portions.

Vish - Edit
I really liked the idea of this “vish” and went there yesterday for lunch. Tried the vish burger but it was not mind blowing. Nice to taste something different but I’m not sure if i pay them another visit. Not a cosy place to sit.

Not a traditional chipper - Edit
Vish Shop has been permanently on Dorset St, close to Veginity, for the past year or so. It's set up as a fancy version of a traditional chipper (and vegan of course). Their own-recipe fish is nice, if a bit mushy and non-descriptor, and their triple-cooked chips wouldn't be for me. Cauliflower wings were well-seasoned when we got them but weren't fully cooked through and we're cold and hard in the centre. Opening hours are confusing too - closes at 10pm, right when people start wanting chipper food.

Cons: Over-fancy, Not open when you want chipper

“Fish” and chips - Edit
The fish here is made of cassava and it is wonderful!!! It’s not much of a sit down spot, they have bar stools. It was delicious and definitely a must try in Dublin.

Vish - Edit
I like the idea of this place, however... I thought this place was supposed to be known for their Vish—which is the restaurant’s name after all—but it seems other menu items are probably better. The Vish just tasted like fried bread. There was no seaweed flavor and the texture was just like dense bread. Not what I was expecting here. I decided to try the cauliflower wings the next day and they were better, but not mind blowing. Would I eat here again? Maybe.
