Nice fast food - Edit
I'm not into fish anyway but this was really tasty. My non vegan friends ate the cheeseburger and the smoky vish and were surprised how good and filling it is.

A cool place for a bite - Edit
Their menu looked great. Staff were super-friendly. Unfortunately, there were only a few gluten-free things on the menu, so I got their cheesy chips which were super filling and very tasty. A great place if you just want to have fish and chips vegan-style.

Interesting, worth trying - Edit
I mainly came here to try the vish. I had read on HappyCow that it wasn't exactly meant to be a close imitation of fish in batter, but I still felt it was a little disappointing.
Read moreThe texture of the cassava is just too mushy and overall bland to be really satisfying.
A pity, since the batter and aioli & kimchi topping on the smoked vish is great. The chips are also fantastic, some of the best around. I would come back here again to try the rest of the menu.
Pros: Interesting, unusual menu, Excellent chips, Late opening hours
Cons: A little pricey for what it is, Basic/small seating

Good for burger - Edit
We tried smoked vish and a cheese burger. Vish was so chili, I tasted nothing but that. The batter was so tick. I was quite disappointed. On the contrary the cheese burger was so tasty even though there was no melting cheesy thing at all!

Yummy But Wasteful - Edit
My partner & tried both the original & smoked vish with chips - I've had tofu fried vish but never anything like Vish Shop's cassava & seaweed version, which was crispy and enjoyable. I found the chips to be a bit greasy, and I do wish that they would offer real plates & cutlery for dine-in customers. "Environmentally friendly" packaging is great and all, but is it really compostable? More importantly, is it actually going to get composted? Likely not, so I'd prefer a reusable option. Overall, we were happy with our quick lunch at this small shop.
Read morePros: Menu options include vish plus burgers, wings
Cons: Disposable plates, silverware for all orders

Thanks for the feedback about the food. Yes, all our packaging is fully compostable!! and we have a contract with a company to compost it. We also have contract that recycle the oil and we use council facility's to recycle or glass and aluminium, that we take back from customers. Maybe it wasn't clear enough for the end user so we have installed separate bins for compost and recycling so that people can see what is happening. So thanks for bringing it to our attention so we could find an appropriate solution.. The premises is zoned as a take away and have certain regulations that are enforced with it. To get a change of planning for a cafe is prohibitively expensive as we are a small independent company that is totally self funded, so for the time being we can not serve on plates. We are slowly growing our little niche and hopefully soon we will be able to work towards it. Many Thanks all the Team at Vish.Shop

Great to hear that you're following through with making sure the compostables get composted! I also didn't know that there were take-away zoning rules, and can definitely appreciate the complexities and costs involved with using "real" dishes - thank you for making an honest effort to reuse where you can and continuing to look ahead so that you can make further changes as they become feasible for you. all the best!

Tasty vegan fast food in Dublin 1 - Edit
Delicious fast food.
Read moreI've tried the vish, veginity burger and cauliflower wings and have repeat ordered all three.
Price point is a little steep, but well worth it.
Batter on the vish is light and crispy which is a great compliment to the texture of the cassava. The cauliflower wings are sticky and decadent, and I have never managed to finish a full order by myself.
Everything is made fresh / from scratch and the staff are always calm and friendly.
My only complaint is the salad selection is a quite mayonnaise/sauce heavy which can be a bit much when you're already eating something battered like the vish or covered in a sticky sauce like the delicious cauliflower wings. The menu is being tweaked over time, so I hope something a bit more contrasting is added soon.
Pros: Delicious food every time, made fresh, Friendly staff, Good range of choices on menu
Cons: A little pricey, Salad selection a little too heavy on oil/mayo

Burger and chips okay - Edit
I ate there some fries with cheese and a burger. The fries were okay and the burger as well. The Patty could have a better taste. The place for sitting is quite uncomfortable that's why I only gave 3 stars.

I went twice at the food truck in the Eat Yard in Dublin. It was delicious ! Everything is vegan and you can enjoy your food while seating outside in the yard (can be really busy). The cauliflower wings are delicious ! I recommend them a 100%.

Worth a visit - Edit
This is a small place which probably only seats about 8 people at the window bars but if you can get a seat (or get a take away) it is well worth the visit even if only for the cauliflower wings. Quite possibly one of the most delicious, amazingly textured dishes I have eaten! The vish and chips were good too but it’s the wings that would keep me going back.

Can't wait to try more! - Edit
I'd heard about vish shop in the past and was planning to try it. Was super excited when I stumbled across it by accident! There was so much I wanted to try but I opted for the smokey fish and chips with an oat milk cappuccino. The fish was so good and I really enjoyed the mayo and kimchi that came along with it. The chips were some of the best I've tried for a long time!
Read moreService was a little slow as they don't have a lot of staff but I didn't mind at all and it's totally worth it - just something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. The girl working at the till was lovely too! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu😄

Chips, wings and deserts are amazing. The vish itself is a bit sickening and the salads were unimaginative when I was there.

Satisfies a craving - Edit
I usually order the “original vish” meal and it definitely hits the spot when it comes to satisfying a chipper “fish & chips” craving. You won’t necessarily mistake it for fish, but you won’t need to because it’s delicious in its own right!

The best cauliflower wings ever! - Edit
I've ordered a smokey Vish & chips and cauliflower wings from Deliveroo. The smokey Vish & chips are very tasty, and chips were still super crispy. However, the cauliflower wings texture, flavour, smell and presentation were beyond perfect. Unreal!

Best Cauliflower Wings ever! - Edit
I visited this place on my last night in dublin and i’m so sad, i wish i visited it earlier because i would have ate here everyday. The cauliflower wings were phenomenal, the best i have ever had. I’m really curious about the vegan fish as well and i wish i had tried it but i’m honestly certain it tastes amazing. It’s a small little place, very simple, clean and the menu is easy, not much on it but all great choices. My only critique would be that the staff don’t make it feel that welcoming but other than that it’s great.

Vegan fish and chips - Edit
Newly opened Vish shop, permanent residency of the Eatyard food stall. The location is very central. Service time is fast. There aren't many seats in the place so take away is advisable! The food itself I found quite heavy but this is really based on personal preference as I don't eat too much fried foods. I wouldn't class it as traditional but more so a contemporary take on fish and chips. Music being played at the time we were there was good but I did think the staff could be a bit warmer towards customers.
