Had some time to spare in howth, so we went for the pancakes.

You can mix and match your own, sadly only the mapel syrup is vegan, but if you order dark choc chips, they melt just right.
It seemed like a small portion at first, but it was reaaaally filling! The chai latte with oat milk was good too.

We came here to have vegan pancakes for breakfast, and they didn't disappoint! It's indeed a little expensive, but I still enjoyed my stay in this very cute café :)

Vegan Afternoon Teatime - Edit
Was wäre ein Trip nach Dublin ohne eine Teatime? Das Angebot für die Teatime im Pòg war im Vergleich zu anderen Anbietern günstig (38€ pP inkl. unbegrenzt Tee und Kaffee.) Dazu gab es Falaffel Wraps, zweierlei Toasts (einmal süß, einmal herzhaft), Smoothie Shots, Brownies und Schokoladenkuchen. Die Menge war genau richtig, liebevoll angerichtet und bei der schönen Aussicht ließen wir es uns nach unserer Wanderung über die Klippen von Howth doppelt gut schmecken.
Read moreEigentlich muss ma die Teatime 48h vorher reservieren, aber wir hatten Glück, Küchenchef und Servicepersonal konnten es auch kurzfristig ermöglichen. Dafür gibt es einen extra Daumen hoch. ;-)
Wir waren begeistert und kommen beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder.

Delicious vegan pancakes but extremely expensive - Edit
I was hooked after reading that they offer vegan pancakes. And yes, they were delicious. But we spent so much money a little lunch (the veganized avocado toasts was 18€!). If you don't mind spending money, it is indeed delicious😄

We went here for breakfast/lunch. Vegan options were not clearly stated on the menu, so I had to ask and ended up with the obligatory avocado toast but without poached eggs and beetroot yogurt (as on the menu). It wasn‘t bad but it was only one slice of bread and despite leaving the two non-vegan components off they charged the full 15.50 € for it. Not really vegan-friendly imo. Luckily there‘s a shop offering vegan donuts next to it, so I didn‘t have to go hungry.

Found out it's actually a chain - 5 in Dublin! Nice place with quite a few vegetarian options and I chose the avocado toast.
Read moreThe staff was really kind and helpful, explaining that I could leave the tomatoes if I prefer but if I wanted cheese instead I would have to pay for the extra.... mmhhh
Overall it was nice - I guess I'm just not used to those price hikes yet - 14.50 Euro for a toast where they either put only half an avocado on or a mini version of it.... after all you call it Avo toast - I missed the cado! On the photo you can imagine the size when you see the cherry tomatoes. In my opinion too big for a starter and too small for a main.
