I had my birthday dinner here with a friend and it didn’t disappoint. The service was good and the ambiance was relaxing. Love the outdoor seating. The food was delicious and very fresh. I loved the mushrooms steak and potatoes. Will def return.

What a wonderful experience. Plant is tucked away in a tranquil setting. The food is remarkable. So many options and absolutely delicious. We are only in Miami for a few days and we will definitely go back.

Beautiful place, food is terrible - Edit
Blue cheese tasted nothing like blue cheese, and the crackers that came with it were too bitter. the “caviar” dish served on a Jerusalem artichoke, which wasn’t fully cooked. The only tasty part on this dish was the kale, but that’s it. The sushi was cold and the seaweed too thick. Unrelated flavors. The truffle noodles were tasty but the dish was too small for $30 in my opinion, and no much of truffle flavor.

Overall for the price and the show , you expect to get more. I’d go there just for drinks n the vibes, but not for the food at all.
Pros: Beautiful place and outdoor seating area , Great presentation
Cons: Super expensive , Tiny dishes, Not tasty at all

Upscale ambience, knowledgable hostess, with food to match equals Plant Miami - Edit
This is a good place to go for special occasions. Both indoor and outdoor dining were provided, but outdoors added beautiful scenery.
Read moreThe waitress arrived quickly, but dragged providing the check. The hostess brought the wrong beverage(wrong customer) and later charged for it instead of what I ordered; however, when I pointed out her error, she corrected it and the charge. She also made me aware that several versions were available for my order.
The presentation of my kale salad was also beautiful as the waitress delivered it; that and the tonic were delicious. The hostess also made me aware that food and tonic were both good for my health. I was constantly asked by the hostess if I enjoyed the food.
Pros: presentaion, food, environment
Cons: expensive prices, initially the beverage and charge were incorrect , delay in providing the check

Overrated and overpriced - Edit
I was so excited to go to this restaurant, unfortunately I didn't enjoy it so much. The food was meh, I had the kale & avocado salad, it was supposed to have quinoa, I could literally count the quinoa little balls. My salads at home are much tastier and diverse and they fill me up! The sauce was not great, too spicy. The lemonade was just ok. Totally overpriced given what you get.

Grossly Overpriced - Edit
I had the truffle noodles, be honest burger, and papaya cheesecake. The noodles were good but did not come with the actual truffles. I understand the prices are set, but I like to get what I pay for. The be honest burger….made me chuckle…a suitable side dish would have made it acceptable at best. The papaya cheesecake did taste good, but I could’ve done without the browning flowers. The current menu as of the date of this review is not that of fine dining and isn’t just overpriced, but grossly so. Very disappointed and won’t be back. For the record, my reviews are mostly about the food, though good service is a plus. I could be sitting at a card table in a folding chair and still give you a 5 star if you have that flame food.

My last visit - Edit
I went back to Plant. I was looking for something more fancier, maybe different than vegan burgers, avocado toast, wraps that we find with great quality in lots of places. I ate there before, and that was the case. Not this time. I called for a reservation and I was told that I don't need one because is never busy. I got there looking for someone to ask where to sit. Finally a food runner told to sit wherever we want. The menu is with my phone. The order is placed online. Like placing an order to go. And the worst part the menu is reduced to avocado toast , Pancakes ( dinner menu , only menu), salads. I just Google it the old menu which can still be googled, and is not even close. But the prices are the same as it use to be , very expensive. Sorry, but it is a huge disappointment and definitely I don't recommend it anymore. There are a lot of better vegan options in the are at better prices and quality for the same food

Beautiful place but.. - Edit
The place and atmosphere are beautiful, the staff was affable but the food left a lot to desire. It was late at night and we ordered to go but were very disappointed, we ordered 4 dishes and only liked 1. Expected better due to the hype and reputation Plant Miami has.

Plant Miami - Edit
I love fancy high-end vegan places and am happy to pay a premium for them, but my experience at Plant Miami felt basic with bland food. I ordered a kale salad to go and the dressing was so off-putting that I couldn't eat it. To put it another way, I basically received an order of kale that I paid $20 for when I could have gone to the local grocery store and purchased a bag of kale (quadruple the amount of kale I received from Plant Miami) for less than $4. I felt very ripped off an am not inclined to return.

My favorite restaurant in Miami - Edit
Considering most vegan eateries are cafeterias, it is nice to have a restaurant quality food for change.
Read moreThe dishes are beautifully presented, delicious and creative (not something you can quickly do at home yourself).
The venue is quiet, it has got lovely garden.
The staff is friendly and properly trained for restaurant service.
The menu changes with the season.
Some noted that it was pricey, but considering the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes, you do get what you pay for.
I can not wait for it to reopen ( I was just checking if there is update on the working hours)
Pros: All options are vegan AND gluten free, Quality ingredients, Interesting and creative dishes
Cons: There were mosquitoes late spring

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff - Edit
I recently visited Miami and had dinner two nights at Plant Miami. The staff were great. They made excellent suggestions for food and wine choices. The Seared Lion's Mane entrée was amazing. It had a wonderful explosion of texture and flavor. The Sunflower Risotto was creamy and delicious. The Kale + Avocado salad was presented beautifully with colorful edible flowers. It was complete with citrus and a contrasting crunch from almonds and sunflower seeds. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area that is beautifully illuminated at night. I highly recommend Plant Miami to anyone who desires amazing vegan food.

The cheese platter was my favorite and I liked the kelp noodles a lot. The lions mane was so good and interesting but def an Acquired taste because it was so strong tasting. Didn’t like the dumplings. Too much filling inside and was too heavy.
