These guys are always cooking up the tastiest market fare. There were more menu options than I remember there being on previous visits. We got the prawn rolls, bean curd rolls, satay chicken skewers and pad see ew. The mains all came with a taro roll and the lovely owner threw in an extra piece of each entree too. Highly recommend!

Amazing food and great service! - Edit
Eve and Tom catered for our wedding and were absolutely incredible! They went above and beyond taking special care of us (bride and groom) as well as wowing even the fussiest eaters with their delicious food on our special day! The food was so good many went back for more and all dietary requirements were already considered with everything on our chosen menu already dairy and gluten free! Would recommend Plant Based Eatery to any and everyone for special events or even when just popping down to the markets, they are our absolute favourites! 😁 Thanks again Eve and Tom (and Tommy) for making sure our special day was delicious 😋

You can find Plant Based Eatery at the Foragers Food Market on Friday's and Eat Street Markets, on Crown Street Wollongong, on a Thursday night. They are at Planted Vegan market (when they are on) and Nan Tien Temple market sometimes. Best to follow them on Facebook to find out their next location.

I found this “Thai Street Food” booth at the Friday Foragers Market, Crown Street Mall, Wollongong. All vegan food, which is rare for this area. Serves Thai meals and snacks, the main meals being various “chicken” dishes, including the BBQ one that I had ($12). Each vegetable is cooked separately, so ingredients acquire even doneness. I also bought and gobbled down four, delightfully crispy, spring rolls stuffed with Japanese sweet potato and yam ($6) – really good. Pleasant service, great food. I would support this business regularly if I lived here!
