I love dogs. But I don’t like ordering my food in a kennel. We accidentally picked dog day to go to the bar/ brew pub where this small pizzeria is located. As you might expect, the place had gone to the dogs - everywhere; barking, drooling, one had an accident. All of this where we were planning to enjoy vegan pizza. I still ordered and took it to go. Three stars for the pizza — somewhat bland sauce, crust was a little too doughy and not at all crisp. Mushrooms were placed on the pizza by scrooge himself - only a few small pieces. One star for the environment and the hairy beasts (dogs, not people) — a net of two stars.

They have a good selection of vegan pizzas to choose from.
I really struggled finding good vegan pizza with a delicious crust (which makes the pizza IMO). They use Vio-Life for their cheese.
I use to drive 45 minutes just to get good vegan pizza and now I have this place, which is a lot closer.

I ordered the “Vegan Four Seasons” pizza and I chose to add vegan pepperoni to it. I was pleased when it came with black olives and not green - I don’t think the menu specified, but I was willing to give the green olives a whirl. You can tell that this pizzeria has a very set way of doing things; their crust is paper thin and their pizza comes in one size: 10”. I won’t lie: last night was New Year’s Eve, and I wanted to spend about 5 hours sitting on the sofa, picking away at a big, messy pizza, but that’s not what you get from Magaddino; you get an elegant pizza with very nice flavours. I enjoyed the pizza, but if I could have ordered a 14” or 16” or something, I definitely would have. I could have snacked 90 minutes later. Still, I was happy to order a vegan pizza, I can’t get that in my home town.

You had to use a portal I didn’t want to put my credit card into, your Google ID or Apple Pay or Facebook; if you’re old fashioned like me and tend to avoid putting your credit card and personal info out there (no Facebook!), it was super hard to order. I tried calling and a machine said to go online and hung up on me. For a while, it seemed like we weren’t going to get our pizza….

They have 6-8 pizza’s that are vegan. The crust is not non gluten. But the pizza’s are really good. And they have several additional vegan option. The beer selection is very good as well. If they could add some pool tables (they have the room) it would be perfect for this vegan( since 1968)

This place takes such pride in their pies! We tried the humble bumble and the Buffalo. The Buffalo didn't taste like Buffalo but it was delicious! The humble bumble was out of this world! Same with the chicken parm boat! Fabulous! Located in a brewery too so that's not a bad combo.

Unfortunately they only had one size of pizza (10"), so you couldn't just order a few pies for a group, and ordering one pizza per person really adds up. The vegan Americano pizza I got was really salty, so I wish I could have tried a different pizza because they do have interesting flavor combos. Finally, for a personal sized pizza it was way overpriced. This place was really a huge let down.

I will have to disagree with you here. 15-16 dollars for a personal pizza really is not a bad deal in todays restaurant space. And it’s easily enough food for one person. I went very hungry and split a personal pizza and the chicken parm sub (13 dollars). Ended up being roughly 30 plus tax. For the quality of food you’re getting it’s actually a deal in certain ways. Literally this is up there with the best vegan pizza in the area. Do not skip this place because of this review

We discovered Magaddino's when they set up shop in one of our favorite local breweries. As of this review, there are 9 vegan pies on the menu with creative, tasty ingredients that go far beyond simply offering non-dairy cheese. The owner and staff are very aware of what is and is not vegan and are always experimenting with new vegan ingredients. The menu has something for everyone - vegan or not. Delicious pizza and great beer? Yes, please!
