Build Your Own Pizza - Edit
A build your own pizza place right next to Plant Based Tokyo in the Food Hall Blast! food court. We got the basil sauce pizza with potatoes, zucchini, and shimeji and eringi mushrooms, no cheese. It was a really good size and quite well done. I found it just a tad on the dry side, but I think this was only due to our choice of toppings. But with plenty of vegan toppings and two vegan sauces, you can do so many different variations! Hopefully, now that there are more and more options for vegan cheese in Japan, they will consider adding vegan cheese to their menu.

Delicious vegan Pizza in Shinjuku - Edit
This pizza was amazing, how wonderful to have a food court in Shinjuku with vegan options. Be careful to mention that you are vegan and do not want cheese on your pizza!

Shot last second! - Edit
By the time we were about to just check what pizzas were vegan and headed back, they placed the "closed" sign on the counter. I'm angry and no one that I can blame.

Vegan pizza on the menu + Remember to order cusomizable without cheese. - Edit
Update summer 2023:
Read moreThey now have a vegan labelled pizza on the menu with Daiya cheese and Zeromeat veggie meat as a topping. Comes with basil sauce (maybe possible to switch to tomato sauce if you ask)
Otherwise you can make your own customizable pizza.
Great pizza. Both crust and base sauces are vegan (tomato or basil). We checked with the staff and were also able to look at the ingredient list of the basil sauce to confirm extra.
Pizzas are stone oven baked and there is an abundant of vegan toppings to choose from. Three toppings are free, add-ones will be around an extra 100Y. Pizza is huge, so it may be shared by two people. Already been here a few time and we were never dissapointed.

Finally vegan pizza option at Shinjuku! - Edit
They have 1 vegan pizza option.
Read moreIt's not bad, maybe the only thing - is the crust is a bit big and dry.
But maybe it was because for my pizza - vegan cheese was already finished and they offered for me to do it without cheese (chose an extra ingredient as compensation).
Anyway, liked it and definitely will try it once again!

Great pizza - Edit
Unfortunately they were out of the Daiya cheese, but the cheese-less pizza with onion, garlic, basil, and plant-based sausage was delicious! Pizza took a while to come out but was worth the wait. Staff were nice too.
Read moreThis is inside Food Hall Blast, a very cool but slightly noisy place. We grabbed a table outside, where it was quieter, and had a wonderful evening. As far as I could tell, most (all?) of the other restaurants in the food hall had vegan options. Restrooms were nice and clean and water was easily available.

Tasty pesto - Edit
The vegan pizza has daiya cheese, plant based sausage, bell peppers, onions, and pesto. There is a build your own pizza option as well. They used the right amount of cheese (too much daiya can be overpowering) and the pesto sauce was so bright and delicious! The plant based sausage was my least favorite element of the pizza so next time I'll build my own and leave it out, but it's nice to have a protein option regardless.
