You are missing out, if you don't visit - Edit
I was absolutely blown away by this place. It’s tucked away in a small market hall a bit outside the city, but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth the trip. They offer a wide variety of pierogi, and every option sounds better than the last. We tried two different flavours, and both were incredible. The pierogi are quite large, so you’ll definitely leave feeling full. The woman behind the counter was super friendly, which made the experience even nicer.
Read moreBy the way, you can also buy uncooked pierogi to take home, either as a tasty souvenir or to enjoy those flavours again later.
Pros: Taste, Size of portion, Price

They have soup and pierogi. We tried almost all vegan options. The variety is great, the pierogi are huge. My favorite were the ones with sauerkraut

Really tasty pierogi - Edit
I was kinda sure that I wouldn’t be able to try pierogi on this trip but this little place helped. Multiple vegan options. Tried the ones with seitan and liked it a lot. Very likely that we have to come back tomorrow to try the other ones

Delicious vegan and vegetarian pierogi - Edit
Cute little shop that sells delicious plant-based and vegetarian pierogi. 6 vegan choices from which I tried 2 and there were both really good. You get to choose between different toppings (fried onions, pumpkin seed oil, avocado oil,...) and also the owner speaks fluent English.
Read moreThe shop is located inside a market hall which is not the coziest place but since the shop itself feels quite homey it doesn't really matter. If i'm ever in the area again i'll definitely come back to try the other flavours.
Pros: Delicious food, Fresh, Good service

Authentic Pierogi - Edit
They have 6 different kind of vegan Pierogi. The ones we wanted to buy were sold out so we chose some other. The taste was amazing and we were happy to try the ones with buckweed filling.

Lovely homely pierogi to sample - Edit
This is out-of-the-way in a very local little market hall. The friendly pierogi maker can tell you what's what, and paying is easy. We had some lovely ones including the "farmer's" pierogi with buckwheat, lovely!

Keeping it local - Edit
In a market where every stall tends to blur into the next, this place stood out just enough to catch my eye as it opened for the day. The owner was genuinely lovely, and the option to mix and match fillings made the decision easy.
Read moreThe pierogi themselves? Solid. I’ve had better, but these held their own—comforting, well-made, and clearly cooked with care. It’s not the kind of food that shouts for attention, but if you’re in the area and craving something satisfying and meat-free, it’s a dependable choice with a great ethos behind it.
Pros: Staff, Food

Good Polish Pierogi - Edit
We tried all vegan sorts of Pierogi that they had and they were all good. My Polish non-vegan mother liked them quite a lot too.

Lovely lady over the counter, nice vibe, sorta retro. Dunno if gastro prices in PL changed so rapidly since I lived there but the pierogi seemed very expensive?

Just terrible - Edit
For me, the positive reviews are a mistery. A few years ago it was okay, but now it's just miserable. I've tried all the fillings. They all taste dry and bland.
Read moreIt's almost an everyday occurrence that the olive oil, the fried onions or the drinks are sold out. These large and dry dumplings then feel like tennis balls in your mouth when swallowing them.
Literally all the dumpling brands you can buy in the supermarket have a much better consistency and better taste. It's hard to believe that these dumplings are prepared fresh.

Loved it! - Edit
Small restaurant selling mostly vegan pierogi (clearly labelled) and some vegetarian ones. My only regret was that I couldn't try all the different flavours! The ones we had were really great, creative and filling. We ate them a couple of hours after they were made and they were still really good, I can imagine they would be even better freshly made.
Read moreThe lady at the counter was very friendly and efficient, which was perfect for us because we had to rush to catch a train. Highly recommended.

These pierogi are so delicious. We had the RUSTYKALNE, TRADYCYJNE, and the LESNE. They were all really good but we went back and got the rustykalne and tradycyjne again as they were our faves.
