Mostly marketing - Edit
Everyone goes here to shop on Saturdays and because of this, prices are very high. It’s the same merchendise (and the same people) found in other markets in town. The difference is that in other markets the prices are lower. Plus, this place also attracts low quality products and not so authentic farmers.

beautiful authentic market - Edit
Lots of seasonal fruits and vegetables, everything looks as if it was just picked from an old tree in a small garden and there are also some selfmade cookies, honey and tomato sauce. Its a pleasure to walk through the little market stalls.
