Traditional market in Karimunjawa with multiple food vendors. A vendor near the entrance offers vegan dishes including tofu with chili, sliced green vegetables, and spiced shredded coconut. Not sure about the hours, I've been there at 10 am (open) and 7:30 am (closed)

Tasty, fresh, good value

Buffet-style market stall. There was rice and four vegan dishes when I was there (I checked with the vendor about animal products including fish sauce and shrimp paste, not present and no fish taste). Everything I tried tasted good and very fresh. Super cheap as well (10000 IDR for rice 3).

I think it's intended as takeout food, but you can eat there if you don't mind having to find somewhere else to sit or standing. No lend-out cutlery, although she did offer me a plastic spoon (luckily I'd brought my own).

Pros: Good food, Cheap, Nice owner and neighborhood

Cons: No seating, had to go to other stall (not problem)
