The food here is fresh, inexpensive and the environment is clean. They have the best vegan pizza. The falafel is amazing, and some things that are not vegan can be tweaked to become vegan. Everything here is vegetarian. There is no meat whatsoever. This is my favorite place to grab a quick inexpensive meal. The soups rock. They have the best fries I have had in a long time. Everything is fresh fresh fresh! The people that work there are warm and friendly ...and the service is great. When in town....try it, you wont be sorry.
Alas, they were out of vegan cheese so we couldn't try the pizza, but the hummus, falafel, grape leaves, veggie patty and hand cut fries were all fantastic. Everything is clearly labeled, the service was great and as an added bonus they had Boylan's Seltzer.
My friend and I were in Hudson for the Climate March April 29. She's vegetarian, I'm vegan. We were both hungry, and this place was across from the park where the march started. She had gotten a slice of veggie pizza as a snack earlier. This meal, we both got the falafel pitas. She said they were the best falafels she's ever had. The pitas were stuffed with fresh, handmade ingredients, loaded with flavor.
I have two problems with Park F&P ; > . They're too far away from my home (in Albany); and they have way too many vegan options to choose from. Seriously! Almost everything on the menu is (or could be made) vegan. And the Daiya cheeze on the pizza is the only substitute I saw (no seitan or tempeh).
Ya gotta go try this place!
A lovely restaurant with outdoor seating, a friendly vibe and stunningly excellent food (mediterranean and pizza). Was the crust really that crispy? Yes! No soggy or floppy slices here.
You know how cheeze pizza gives you that kid-tastic warm fuzzy pizza feeling? Thus far only Tofutti's frozen oven pizza has achieved this high standard with me -- until now. I had freshly made eggplant soy cheeze pizza... mmm, mouth watering thinking about it. Can't wait to try the falafel!
