Papaya's food is overpriced for the culinary level. The Thai fried rice was actually rice & frozen mixed vegetables with soy sauce & oil. It had scallion & cucumber garnish and was missing the tomato as described in the menu. Disappointed.

Honestly sub par food... not a lot of the items can be made vegan. The ones that were did not taste as good as the food down the street at Ocha Indeed.

Pad thai with tofu very dry....the noodles were just a big clump. The sauce was sickeningly sweet (!) unlike any pad thai I've ever had. Veggie rolls were just ok.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food has great sauces, flavor. I have been here many times and each time, I have been very pleased. I always get a dish with the option for tofu. Since I also have dietary restrictions, I was happily surprised to ask for onion and garlic to be omitted and it was done. Many places have the sauces pre made. Not here. They were able to custom make my dish. The ambience is nice, near downtown Beaufort, a short way from the beach. I will continue to go here and recommend this restaurant.

One of my favorite places in town to eat. Service is super duper slow, always and always under staffed. We only go when we aren't on any time schedule.
