Please, Excuse My British - Edit
It’s fair to say that I was somewhat dubious as to the credentials of this place having scanned the menu, as it seemed to be a place that would only provide sustenance to the less enlighten given the plethora of meat and seafood dishes. However, driven by curiosity and hunger (mainly the latter), I decided that there was enough to sate me for the time being, so I dutifully took a seat and hoped for the best. What followed was a surprising to say the least. The vegetable fried rice was good, if not better, and the vine leaves were delicious, the platter of appetisers was something else. Even the simple salad and the pickles (yes, the pickles!) were, and I am saying this the first time, stonking. Plus, the absolute wedge of fresh bread that came with didn’t do it any harm either.
Read moreI wouldn’t make this a place to hang you hat on if you’re looking for a full dining experience, but as a prelude to something else, it’s well worth a shout.

Cozy - Edit
This place has quite a few veggie options. The usual hummus etc but also veg fried rice which is tasty, a veggie tajine and a veggie curry. Friendly staff and the terrace is really cute with nice sofas to sit in and lights.

Fresh salads are good - Edit
This place is just across the popular falafel place Falafel wa Bas. It's quite cozy here with a nice terrace. The owner seemed to understand what vegan means and was kind enough to offer to adjust some of the dishes.
Read moreWe had some fattoush (bread salad) which was excellent and the oriental platter which consisted of different starters: "Turkish" salad, Arab salad, Tabbouleh, hummus, and pickles. All of those were very good, although the hummus tasted like there may have been yogurt in it (which is very common in the Levant) Please double-check if you go.
We also got some pita with it, as well as main dishes with rice. Mine was an okra stew which was much too salty, but luckily I had a great pineapple and mint juice.
We didn't go back because the main dishes were really not that good, but you could go for the starters.
Pros: Several small options, Will accommodate vegans
Cons: Too salty
