Handy, Healthy Little Store - Edit
I was very happy to find this place during my stay in Mexico City. It's located on the corner of a quaint little street of Condesa, where you can sit on the tables outside to enjoy a meal or a fresh juice. I didn't eat there, but I did stock up on plenty of healthy groceries, including all-organic fruit and veg.

Disappointing vegan cappuchino - Edit
We were glad to be able to buy plant milk to bring back to our B&B. However we ordered a coconut milk cappuccino (only vegan milk they had for coffee) and it was super watery and flavourless.

Fine option - Edit
This combination store and small restaurant is a good option for a vegan or vegetarian meal. We had a late dinner here on our arrival in the city. It was fine. It is opposite a plaza, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Food was fine.

Very tasty and large selection - Edit
Lovely cafe/restaurant and organic shop. Be aware it does serve meat and fish. I had a truly delicious tofu burger with a 2 salads (chose from a choice of 6). The juices are great too. Large selection of foods for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. In a nice square with a fountain too. Recommend!

Overpriced but delicious - Edit
You'll find anything healthy you can possibly imagine: gluten free, organic, superfoods, etc. There's great vegan options for breakfast and lunch, and their smoothies are great. The plaza where it's located is really chill.

great store, restaurant could be better - Edit
The store is a good place to buy organic products in DF. The owners pack a great variety of goods in a small space! Unfortunately, there are not a lot of vegan options on the restaurant menu, although some dishes can be made vegan. ("Sin crema, sin queso, por favor!") The store has a lovely baked goods display case, but, the few times I visited, at least, no vegan items were on offer.

friendly small pricey - Edit
we have picked up items at the shop (3-4x) that are rare in DF....until now...so that is great but some things are just too expensive like bread and produce. We ate at the restaurant last time and there was no vegan option but we worked it out and the veggies arrived swimming in a bland sauce.

peaceful spot in Condesa - Edit
Lovely little shop which also includes some excellent health food products. The restaurant and food is definitely on the pricier side - some might say yuppie - but it's worth it for a gorgeous morning on the sidewalk. Recommended, but not budget.

solid option - Edit
Nice, laid back place to eat. We got a table outside and it was lovely. The waiter was really friendly and spoke english, and the food was solid. Lots of different types of sides to choose from; grains, salads, potatoes, etc. I especially liked the veggie burger and the agua frescas. It's in a nice neighborhood and is also a good place to grab some snacks on the go if you're too busy to eat. And major points for being so vegan friendly.
Read moreAlso, as with most nice-ish restaurants in the area, everything is disinfected, so you can eat fresh veggies like tomatoes that are normally a no-no in Mexico, drink the water they serve, have ice in your drink, etc.

Jan '08 - Edit
I ate here several times in Jan '08. It is an organic supermarket and cafe in the Hipodromo Condesa area, very close to Parque Mexico. It's in a quiet, slightly upmarket & artistic residential area, across the road from a small park. No one there spoke English & I had very little Spanish but was able to communicate the basics OK. Food was excellent as was the service. I had a great gourmet vegetarian sandwich one time & other visits had very good mixed bean salads. Prices were reasonable. There's only half a dozen or so tables but it was never too busy.
