Waren heute Nachmittag hier zum Essen nachdem wir die tollen Bewertungen der veganen Köstlichkeiten gelesen hatten. Eigentlich müsste ich die Bewertung in 2 Teile splitten da es sich genauso für uns angefühlt hat.
Read moreWir hatten Pita mit Falafel im Lokal und dazu die Blumenkohl bites (ein dipp dazu wär gut gewesen 🙂) 5/5 - lecker, frisch und genauso wie es sein sollte 😍 - deshalb haben wir uns entschieden für abends noch was mitzunehmen - und zwar den orientalischen Teller für 2 mit 3xHummus und 1xBabaGanoush - das war leider gar nix weil das Chili Hummus schon alkoholisiert bitter (vmtl bereits nicht mehr gut) geschmeckt hat. Das zieht das Gesamtfazit leider dementsprechend für unseren Besuch leider nach unten.
Ich würde den Laden dennoch empfehlen, da dies sicherlich ein Einzelfall war 👍🏻

Huge range of vegan options, really high quality, healthy and tasty. Prices are very low. This is mostly a takeaway place, with just four small tables for 2 people each. We ate in and service was fast and great.

Kleines, aber sehr sehr feines Restaurant in der Innenstadt von Villach. Wir sind sogar extra ein zweites Mal dort hin gegangen. Die Weinblätter waren sehr gut und Falafelwrap, Falafelpita und Hummus himmlisch. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung insgesamt. 5 Sterne wert.

Hatte die Jerusalem-Falafel-Pita und war absolut positiv überrascht! Das ist überhaupt kein "Standard-Döner"! Viele Zutaten und auch super frisch! In meiner Pita waren Hummus, Tahinisauce, Tomaten, Salat, Granatapfelkerne, frisch gegrilltes (noch warmes) Gemüse, Essiggurkerl, rote Rübe, frische Petersilie, frische Minzblätter und wahrscheinlich noch mehr.

One of the best felafels I’ve had - Edit
The menu is up on the wall in German. There are a number of items which are vegan or vegetarian so just specify. I had the Jerusalem felafel in a wrap. I watched it being made and the number felafels were incredibly generous. I liked the pomegranate seeds too and it was filling. Everything mixed well together. They have a couple of seats inside but I got mine take away and wandered past the Christmas market.

Hatten den veggie wrap, damaskus wrap und einen klassischen falafel wrap, alle waren sehr gut, die Minze hätte ich nicht unbedingt gebraucht. Preise sind voll ok, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

I had a tasty falafel pita with grilled veggies. Many clearly labelled vegan options including appetizers, hummus, wraps and pita bread. Perfect for takeaway, they also have a couple of tables. Prices are good (I paid €5,50)

Amazing pomegranate - Edit
I'm a big falafel lover, I've tried many in my life. I have to say this place made probably one of my favourite falafel sandwiches and babaganoush. They used a lot of pomegranate sauce and mint which was a win-win combo. Prices are great for Austria and it's close to the center.

Best vegan place in Villach - Edit
I had a vegan falafel plate, served with a lot of side dishes and two different types of Hummus. Everything was just perfect, I will definitely go there again. Also tried the vegan tarte flambée, it was good but very oily and therefore did not really match my food preferences.
