Bulk bins + deli

Open Harvest usually has what I’m looking for. They have a wonderful selection of bulk items, and they carry TVP and nutritional yeast in bulk. The burritos and samosas at the deli are worth a special trip alone!

Pros: Lots of vegan deli options , Bulk bins

Occasional Shopper

I appreciate a co-op in Lincoln however this is one of the smaller health stores in Lincoln. I love buying locally but their produce is ridiculously overpriced. They sell the basic vegan milks, cheese, and frozen items. They do also offer a few vegan cupcakes from the bakery.

Cons: Produce is expensive

Fantastic vegan deli options

Their burritos are incredibly good and have a vegan option including seitan, vegan cheese and vegan sour cream. Also one of the best places to buy commodities in bulk and bring your own containers in!

Cons: A little pricey but very worth it IMO

A Favorite Place to Shop

Open Harvest is one of the groceries that I frequent often. I really like the local, fresh bulk spinach and spring mix and other organic produce. The bulk section has grains, beans, flours, cereal and snack mixes, nuts, seeds, spices and more. It's nice to buy just the amount you might need which would be good for travelers, e.g. cereals, nuts, snacks. They offer a good selection of non-dairy milks and cheeses and meat alternatives. There are vegetarian and vegan items at the deli for take out or eating in at a few tables located at the front of the store or outside. The staff is friendly and helpful--a great place to shop.

Pros: Local, organic, Vegan items, Helpful, friendly staff

Cons: Limited space for eating in
