Delicious

Every dish we had was very tasty. We had cassava.bites to start-served with a dip, these were very moreish.
For mains we had the coconut peas stew with rice-a mild & coconutty flavour which worked well with the sweetish dip, and also the coconut bean stew which had a more smoky flavour-equally delicious. We also ordered some plantain. I’d not had this before but was sweet, tasty and complemented our stews.
Service was extremely friendly & helpful. Very suitable for vegans. Would give 5 stars if I could

Nice swahili food

It's quite unusual to come across swahili food in restaurants, especially with vegan options.
The vegan main meal options are not well indicated but the server was very helpful when I asked. I had ugali with mchicha karanga (spinach with peanut butter) and maharage ya [censored] (kidney beans with coconut milk), and muhogo chips.

Justina the owner is friendly and explained the menu with over 8 vegan options that look lovely. They just making a formal menu formating so u didn't take photos of it. Yet to try the food. But looking forward to trying it. Love trying other cultural dishes.

Pros: Several vegan options, Friendly Staff, Nice African Music

Cons: Uses meat and eggs
