Good selection of vegan dishes, very tasty food and not too spicy for those who like it on the milder end of things.

We ordered bread pakora as we haven't seen that on any menus before. It was very oily, but had a crouton crunch, which makes sense as it's like a huge crouton. I couldn't taste any spicy mash potato that is inside, it must have been quite a thin layer.
Read moreFor mains, we shared a soy chaap masala, which unfortunately was SUPER salty, and not actually that spicy. The soy chaap pieces were smooth, which I didn't enjoy.
I was excited they had vegan garlic naan, but it wasn't very garlicky, and not fluffy, more like a crispy roti texture.

Cheap, but incredibly spicy - Edit
Having gone to all 6 Oms which have ever existed, I feel I am in a position to comment.

This Om caters for the demographics of Truganina, which has a large Indian population. Consequently, the vegan thali is INCREDIBLY spicy-hot, completely unlike every other Om I have been to.
$9.90 gets you a 100% vegan thali with unlimited refills.
There is also one single dish on the a-la carte menu which is vegan (okra). All other dishes are non-vegan.
when we went there at around 7.30pm at night, the rice was gluggy, and musty.
Pros: Incredibly Hot, free refills for vegan thali, excellent value
