Hella good but not super vegan friendly - Edit
Really yummy. Some of the food cooks on the grill at your table (same grill that meat gets cooked on beware). There’s a vegetarian menu that clearly specifies what comes with egg and or cheese. It says you can specify vegan for other dishes but you must ask — only thing is you order by phone/QR with no option of specifying by phone so you have to ask before submitting the order.

Okonomiyaki not vegan but they adapt noodles - Edit
I am pretty sure all pictures are from vegetarian okonominiyake and not vegan, as they could not accomodate. That being said, they have a few vegan option and staff is really amazing, they will try to help u. I ate the yakisoba and it was ok, nothing wowww

so tasty - Edit
Not the Hiroshima Okonomiyaki I was familiar with, so no noodles here, but very tasty and a good energy here nonetheless.

Very delicous vegetarian food - Edit
I had the vegetarian onion variant (with egg) and it was delicious! They really take care preparing everything separately from the non-veg stuff.

Yakisoba - Edit
There is a separate vegetarian menu that clearly shows which items include cheese and egg. It says you can make things vegan when ordering but I don’t know how that works when you order from the QR code. I got the yakisoba and it was pretty good.

Great option straight off the flight - Edit
Well labeled veg menu (options available in vegan), order from QR code so if your Japanese is rusty or you are just too exhausted you don’t need to speak.

Veg Menü aber.. - Edit
Aber wird auf den gleichen Grill gekocht wie nicht vegetarische Gerichte. Bei mir waren deswegen paar Fischflocken vom Nachbar Gericht.

No vegan okonomiyaki - Edit
There is a full English vegetarian menu with clearly labeled eggs and cheese. I asked which item could be veganized and the ony thing was the yakisoba (friend noodles). Those were quite good and I was with non-vegan friends so they could try okonomiyaki. If you are traveling Solo, try something else maybe, otherwise the food is good and service was friendly.

Tread carefully - Edit
While there is a separate "vegetarian" menu, culturally in Japan fish are considered not meat/vegetables. Kim chi and furikake usually has fish contained.

Amazing!! - Edit
Delicious okonomiyaki and yakisoba! The best we’ve ever had! There is a separate menu for vegetarian food, the majority of which (including the okonomiaki) can be made vegan upon request. They have three different types of vegan okonomyaki and a variety of vegan noodles and side dishes.

No vegan okonomiyaki - one option - Edit
They do not have vegan okonomiyaki. The first chef whom I spoke to didn’t speak English so he asked a colleague to help. After assuring me that a bunch of options were vegan it was only after I asked about egg and cheese that he admitted he thought vegan and vegetarian were the same. He said no okonomiyaki could be made vegan as the batter already contained egg. Offered to make me vegan soba noodles but I decided to dine somewhere else. Should not be on happy cow as while well-intentioned, they don’t really offer anything vegan.

Good tasting teppanyaki food - Edit
They have a vegetarian menu marked with dairy and egg products, anything on there can be made vegan upon request. The okonomiyaki, negiyaki, yakisoba were great! The cucumber sides were fantastic as well.

The best green veges I've had - Edit
There is a separate vegetarian menu, with a note that several items can be made vegan. Meals with egg and cheese are clearly marked. I had the green vegetable teppanyaki and though the portion was small, the sauce they were cooked in was amazing! The food is all reasonably priced.

Finally got to try vegan okonomiyaki which was SO delicious!! There are a few different okonomiyaki flavours you can pick from (staff were helpful and told me they would take out the egg and cheese). They have an entire vegetarian menu so there were many other options as well!
