If you want oatmeal... - Edit
Contrary to what an accompanying photo suggests, this place offers no vegan pastry (at least not when I stopped by). The main vegan item they offer is oatmeal--which is usually vegan anyway--which they offer throughout the day. To be fair, they offer a wider variety of types of oatmeal, so if oatmeal is what you want, then this place is for you.

This place is great for vegans or vegetarians! You can get your steel cut oatmeal made with water or lowfat milk. They have plenty of predefined choices or you can build your own topping combination. Comes in 3 sizes. They were also very willing and attentive to not putting honey on mine as a modification. I would give it 5 stars if Happy Cow would let me!

Great place for oatmeal lovers - Edit
Visited OatMeals last week on my trip to NY.
Read morePretty, cozy, small bistro close to the subway/PATH station. Big selection of oatmeal (menu or "make your own") in 3 sizes. Also offers coffee, drinks and bakery. You cna choose from oatmeal with milk or water (which is great thing as well).
I had the Indian summer oatmeal and my bf had Almond oatmeal. Both tasted great, was really nice. The only thing I di not like much was coffee - kind of bitter but I might be just unlucky.
Anyway - highly reccomended.
