Read moreWent there last night with a non-vegan friend of mine, the location is smaller than I expected with limited seating, but seats were available when my friend and I went.
I got the Southwest Chicken Melt which was delicious (and very filling) with a side of tofu scramble and a Protein Boost smoothie (which is a bit of an acquired taste), and my friend got the Fiesta Bowl. We were both immediately impressed with how great the food is. Next time I'm in Hell's Kitchen I'll make a point to come back here since I'm really interested in trying the Breakfast Scramble Wrap.
Certainly worth coming to this place!

When visiting NYC it can often feel like while the food is great it’s also not the healthiest.
Read moreAppreciate NuLeaf for its salads/bowls which gave us just what we needed - a good portion of protein and veggies.
Flavors were very good and portions appropriate for a normal eater. If you eat bigger portions you might not get full (or just opt for their higher calorie meals ans add-ons).
Prices are what they are in the middle of Manhattan. Also more of a takeout place than sitting down.
Pros: all vegan , nutritional facts shown on menu

Small space on 8th Ave. Counter service. Really enjoyed the picnic bowl. Boyfriend had the bolognese, which he said was bland. Food was fresh & assembled in front of us. Smoothies were delicious. Only about 6 or so stools to sit at a window counter, or one table outside. Didn’t see any restrooms inside - but didn’t ask. Music was a little loud & was difficult to talk. Great for lunch & would recommend the picnic bowl!

For a very reasonable price you could get a hearty bowl. They recommended the Fiesta Bowl and it was incredibly delicious and flavorful! Don’t forget the hot sauce! My friend got the chicken wrap. I got to taste some of the chicken and it was super Duper delicious. She also got the protein shake for later and it was blue berricious!

Healthy quick serve restaurant near the theater district. less than a dozen seats. I had the picnic bowl and and an Almond Delight smoothie. both were very good. I will be back.

We had a very good, pre-theatre meal at Nuleaf. My avo smoked tofu hummus wrap was huge and very tasty. I highly recommend this spot for a quick vegan meal. We were expecting more chairs and tables but due to limited space, they offered a counter sit down area indoors only.

Had the morning to myself in chilly NYC, and opted for this eatery as they had more than just salads. My lunch choice was the Protein Bowl, hearty and filling w/ the meatballs. And since the menu options looked so good, I picked up a Crisp Apple salad to eat later at work. (I told them Happy Cow sent me!) Restaurant caters more for take out and delivery, however they do have several bar stools with lunch counter style seating available.

Vegan fast food in Midtown - Edit
NuLeaf is a local NYC chain with another location near Madison Square Park. It's the same owners from Terri (a vegan restaurant chain that no longer exists), but has a more modern menu. The salads, burgers, wraps, and shakes are all good. Gluten-free options are marked. It's in Midtown West - between Columbus Circle and Times Square. The neighborhood really needed this place. There is indoor seating, but it's mostly takeout. While their other location is big, this one is tiny, and doesn't even have a restroom.
