All about the sauce! - Edit
Came here for a hearty meal after touring the Boeing factory and air museums to find what we were looking for! They have a clearly labeled vegan dish menu with extensive options. I opted for the vegan bento which was alright, but with their sauce, elevated the dish to a whole other level. The gyoza that comes with it also tasted like it had pork in it but the worker assured me it was veggie so it fooled me! I also tried a bit of the spicy mushroom tofu and realized that this place does not play around with their sauces! I'd order a dish that already comes marinated in sauce next time.

Very sad to report that after 1-2months of enjoying Nori Teriyaki i bit down on what i thought was tofu but was in fact chicken, i spit it out, called to let them know, they offered to remake it but i was already home at that time and unwilling to leave again..

in any case i cannot return. it was a terrible betrayal of trust. 😞

Let's just say their spicy stars are a bit off. I ordered the tofu mushroom 2star and it was definitely a 5star. It came with a side salad. I also ordered a taro bubble tea plant based is made with almond milk. They have their own vegan menu. I was displeased that even dining in came in Togo plastic containers & silverware.

I ordered from the regular menu three items which all had green leaf icon next to them on the menu (which I assumed indicated they were vegan or at least vegetarian): tofu yakisoba, tofu veggie udon, and a crunch roll. The yakisoba was great but the udon and sushi roll had fish in them. Turns out the staff thinks fish is vegetarian so stick with the menu that specifically says vegan items. They apologized and exchanged the udon with veggie ramen which they said would make vegan, but there were little bits of what appeared to be beef, which makes me thinks the broth was not vegetarian.
Read moreBasically, the staff seems to be very unclear about the definitions of vegan/vegetarian so stick with the specific vegan menu and do not trust the plant symbol on the regular menu.

I love being able to order teriyaki quickly, and easily. The whole vegan menu looks delicious, but my go to is the vegan bento box. my non-veg boyfriend really enjoys their vegan menu as well! I definitely recommend this place!!

Love this place! Vegan section with many options. Yes lots of teriyaki joints could probably make dishes vegan, but it's nice not having to say "hold the oyster and fish sauce". Lady working the counter is super friendly and always throws in something for free! 😊
