Tasty vegan options - Edit
Happy cow doesn't allow a 5 start review for not fully vegan restaurants. Otherwise, I would have given 5 starts.
Read moreWe love Nok's. She is super friendly and understands what vegan means. The food is fresh and everything we had was very tasty. I cannot understand the mixed reviews and also have to say the comments that the restaurant is not clean are not true. Also, there are plenty of good vegan options.
Admittedly, the only downside is that it takes the owner quite a while to prepare the food. We also brought a book to pass the wait time and avoid the restaurant if other people were already waiting for their food. But overall, the food you get is worth the wait. Cheap too.

TERRIBLE VEGAN MENU. Only vegetarian and scary to eat here - Edit
Gross kitchen. Gross bathroom, GROSSS PEOPLE. I couldn’t find any vegan options and was scared to eat here so we kindly said thank you as we were leaving and the owner gave me the middle finger and told me to LEAVE, as I was leaving. Do not support this terrible restaurant

Great thai food - Edit
Really good, authentic thai food with seperate vegan/vegetarian menu. Resturant is run by a sweet old lady, who does all the cooking. Had a papaya salad and the fried tofu curry, and both where great!

Best place ever. - Edit
I would like to give 5 stars but I sadly cant bc its not completly vegan. Best papaya salad I ever had. Amazing food. Amazing burger, amazing curry. This is what I fantasize about when I think about thai food: a small down to earth restaurant run by a lovley old lady and what seems to be her husband. And its super cheap.

Nice vegan food - Edit
We had dinner here this evening and really enjoyed our meal, we both had the tofu with red curry and rice. The meal was a little bit smaller than we would have liked, but the flavours were really good. Will definitely be coming back again to try some more dishes over the next few weeks.

If you read any reviews about “slow” and “we wait so long”, good and fresh food needs some time. She cooks everything fresh and with love. #Veganuary

Ok Thai food, poor service. - Edit
This place has a page on the menu dedicated to vegan / vegetarian food but unfortunately it's very underwhelming.
Read morePenang curry was just watery coconut with some very small pieces of chopped vegetables, no tofu etc.
The Tom yum was probably the best dish, but it also just contained very small pieces of vegetables and lacked any depth of flavour.
Service was very slow despite no other customers and the food didn't come together.
Staff not that friendly either but it's fairly cheap.
So many amazing vegan places in this area I certainly won't be rushing back.

Such a slow service - Edit
We had to wait for like a hour or more for our dishes. Because nok is the only one who cook the food in this restaurant and no one helps her. The restaurant was full of people so it was so slow. It was delicious but so annoying.

Good for Simple Food - Edit
We decided to give this place a go after seeing it on the app. We tried a few of their simple Thai dishes. The kitchen is right in the middle of the restaurant so it's comforting that you can see exactly what is going on. When we ordered the cook was quick to confirm that she completely understood veganism.
Read moreThe dishes we had were satisfactory and we got them spicy which we wanted as most places don't make as spicy as we'd like. Prices are very cheap. The place is pretty basic but it definitely does the job for some cheap Thai grub.

FRESH, GOOD AND CHEAP - Edit
Ordered glass noodle salad (70B) with tofu (10B) and veggie pad kee mao (70B) which was not in the menu but they made it anyway! Liked both a lot. Salad was fresh and full of cabbage, lettuce and tomato..! Not that spicy at all, but still nice flavour. Pad kee mao was nice and spicy! Tofu was crispy but lacked flavour. You could add seasoning from the table and when mixing it into the portions I didn’t mind it.. Big portions and lovely family running the place!

Nok-ing on heavens door - Edit
Wonderful traditional Thai food, at very reasonable prices. Has a clearly labelled vegan menu. We got pad Thai, red curry and spring rolls. Everything was made fresh and to order, you could watch her busyily chopping vegetables. It felt very authentic which was a nice change from the westernised and touristy vegan places in the area which are usually over twice the price.

Local food, local price - Edit
Run by Nok and her husband it offers an alternative to the rather pricey restaurants here.

This was some of the best vegan Thai food I’ve had yet. Delicate, balanced flavors. A great variety of vegetables. Much care goes into the preparation. The green curry was a standout.
