Traditional restaurant with fun atmosphere - Edit
I loved this place. Yes, the veggie options are simple and a little overpriced and the owners are grumpy but none of that matters. The food tasted great and the place has an amazing atmosphere. I was delighted to finally find somewhere really traditional where I could actually eat, with things clearly listed in english, because places like this are extremely rare in Tokyo. All of the food is cooked on the same grill so if you’re worried about contamination this isn’t for you but otherwise this absolutely worth trying if you’re looking for something authentic. We got the grilled leeks, shishito peppers, and shiitake mushrooms; the fried rice balls, the tofu, cucumber with miso, and potato salad. All of it was great (especially the cucumber, peppers leeks) except for the mushrooms which were only ok.

Okay - Edit
We did this more for the experience to eat in omoide yokocha and the food wasn't bad, but a bit expensive for the amount of food. Important to know: they grill all the skewers in the same grill plates with meat and fish and it's Not possible to so it in a different way, so you have to be okay with possible cross contamination.

A great experience - Edit
In a cute traditional alley it was a stretch to find anything a veggy can eat but here they have plenty of options if you can look past cross contamination, it’s made on the same grill as meat.
Read moreI found myself that I could look past that and just enjoy a traditional vibe, the food was good and the atmosphere even better, they have an English menu and speak some English aswel.
Pros: A bunch of options, Great atmosphere , English menu
Cons: Meat made on the same grill

Very good - Edit
This place is a lot of fun and has many veggie options. It was hard to find on the map. It is the back half of the building. It is the first building on the right when you enter the alley. The waitstaff was patient enough with our menu pointing but was in a rush since we had to go upstairs. Sitting upstairs means you don’t have to watch the non-vegan items cook.
