Nice little place in Lucca - Edit
We had a nice lunch at Nanda’s place. It’s really pretty located in the shadow of a big tree. Small terrace, but room enough for us. Food was nothing spectacularly but nice. There are a large number of burgers to choose from and a list of specials of the day. It was a busy day and the lady was working alone, she could have used some help running around being sweaty and all. Due to the busy day there was no ice or cake, which we wanted so bad!

While we were sitting outside, we had a nice chat with lovely owner Antoinetta and ordered a small (which actually wasn’t small!) mixed plate (you can choose three things from the menu to try, love that option, as in many vegan restaurants I can hardly decide what to get!) with lasagne, seitan in vino rosso jus and antipasti veggies. It was phenomenal!
Such simple things, simply arranged, but so aromatic and flavorful!
Then we each had panini, my husband chose the spicy seitan „piccante“ with hot sauce and I had the „nanda‘s“ one with „chicken“ strips, vegan stracchino cheese and many veggies in a semi-whole meal bun.
They where as good as the first course.
Unfortunately deserts / cakes weren’t ready so far, so we had to leave without.
But the fresh bloodorange juice was great, too!
A little gem in Lucca, you should definitely visit!
Pros: many, but very fresh options for such small place, good value , friendly owner
Cons: no sweets available when we where there :-(

We visited Lucca with the family and stopped here for lunch. It was amazing! Typical Italian cuisine but all vegan (next to this, there was also a very nice looking burger menu!)!! Exactly what we were looking for!! We ordered multiple plates and shared everything, we had the lasagna, the gnocchi and the seitan as mains and ordered the panna cotta and apple cake as desserts. Everything was delicious, great flavours and not expensive at all! We also enjoyed a lovely vegan wine with our food. The owner was super super friendly and very helpful! I would recommend this amazing eatery to everyone visiting Lucca!!

Simple place, good food, nice terrace. The right place to have a break during your visit of Lucca. Had grilled seitan and veggies. Simple (as Italian cuisine is supposed to be) and delicious.

It was such a wonderful surprise to find Nanda's - all vegan - on our recent visit to Italy. Thoroughly recommended. Food cooked by the owner was beautiful and the vegan organic wine equally so. Owner very friendly and kind. A great experience overlooking the square.

Ate here with my husband on our 2nd night in Lucca. Both enjoyed vegan pasta dishes on the menu-gnocchi and lasagne. Food seemed fresh and was very tasty. There was also a burger menu, but as it indicted that the burgers were cooked from frozen we ordered from the other menu that was much more interesting. We sat outside and enjoyed looking out on the the square close by.

A cosy little eatery off one of the main squares. Owner/ manageress very friendly. Limited menu which is reflective of the size of the place - c4 covers inside and 10 on outside terrace. Nice to have vegan options. Cash only.

We used to visit this cafe before it relocated and it was always good, especially the vegan lasagna, it’s new setting is better. The outside terrace is a lovely shaded place to sit.

Locale molto carino, ho gustato il kebab e il cheese burger vegani! Buonissimi!
