Satisfactory vegan buffet in Haaga - Edit
The only affordable vegan buffet option near Etelä-Haaga. I was very satisfied with my plate of tofu and vegetables.
Read moreThe à la carte menu has a few vegan options, the usual you can expect from a Chinese restaurant. The buffet had at least two vegan options, plus rice. There may be a potentially vegan sushi (seaweed).
You need to ask staff and be precise. I was told there was no milk in the vegetable dishes, and no egg or fish sauce in the noodles themselves (though there was egg on top of them).

Pros: Affordable and comfortable, Tasty tofu and vegetables
Cons: Vegan options are not marked in the buffet

Remember to ask explicitly for a vegan version of the vegetarian dishes if ordering à la carte, and ask explicitly whether oyster sauce is present in the dishes at the buffet. The second time I visited, most vegetarian dishes had oyster sauce.
