Enjoyed it a lot

Japanese vegetarian food, what a treat! Good food, I really liked the mock meat. Nicely arranged on the plate, if you care about that.

Cons: Location (in the back, by a parking lot)

Veggie Japanese

Mr Genki has a good menu, with veggie versions of the usual dishes such as sushi, gyoza, katsu, udon, salads etc. Everything we tried was great quality and tasty.

I'd say it's priced similarly to a normal Japanese restaurant in the area, sushi set was 259b, avocado salad 180b.

It's located in the back of Sakura residences (look for pink sakura fairy lights) on 33, you can also get to it via the car park.

Overall this place is great for a treat - we don't often get to eat in a dedicated Japanese Veggie restaurant!


It's been open since Oct 2015.

Pros: All veggie menu, great choice, tasty

Tasty but at a cost

First off, this place is in a very quirky location, seemingly in the car park to the right of the residence (if you're looking directly at the residence that is).

When we got there at 8, the man told us it was shut, we asked when it would be open, and then he said, ok, we open now! I asked at the end what their hours were, and he said 10-9, so not sure why he misinformed us at the start .... unless it was because the place was completely empty!

Anyways, ok gyoza, very good sushi and nigri, pleasantly weird deep fried ?tokura? tokuro?

Not cheap - bill came to 570bht - but nice clean flavours

Pros: Good clean flavours, Wide choice

Cons: Expensive for what it is

Excellent food

The food here is exceptionally good and the staff are friendly.
It is a bit pricey (180+ Bart per main course) but is well worth treating yourself!

Pros: Tasty food, Friendly staff, Quiet

Cons: Not cheap
