Mouse Tail Coffee Stories is a cafe set up inside the library for Southwark locals. Emphasises espresso based drinks roasted by Mission Coffee Works and provides oat milk as well as vegan banana bread. Lots of seating both in lounge chairs and on long communal tables. Open Mon-Fri 08:00-14:00, Mon-Thu 14:30-16:00. Closed Sun.

Cute cafe in a lovely location - Edit
Small cafe inside the library on Borough High Street, serving some vegan food and alternative milks. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. Definitely recommend for a quiet break.

Mouse Tail Coffee - Edit
Very cute cafe inside a library. Nice staff. I think I gave him a bit of a shock with quickly ordering two caffeinated drinks while in a hurry, ha! But he did a good job and quickly produced my drinks... the flat white with oat was really good. Seems like a nice place to relax, read, have a vegan coffee, maybe a vegan snack, but equally works well when in a rush.
