Great Indian food

A decent vegetarian section on the menu with a note that many of the dishes can be made vegan upon request. Our server was totally knowledgeable about which ones we could eat. It is currently a takeout only establishment. They rank the dishes in spice from 1 to 10. I had the chana saag at a four My husband had the mattar with mushrooms at an eight. Both were tasty and true to their spice level.

There were so many options, and they were really good. It is a family business and takeout only.

Brilliant Indian Food in Lewiston?

I had doubts, I will admit. I spent 18 months in London with awesome Indian restaurants. Since then, I haven't had Indian food as good as I found on Lisbon Street in Lewiston, Maine. It's very well done, and such a nice atmosphere. So unexpected! We've been back 6 times so far, and will stop in every time we're in L/A (that's what the locals call Lewiston/Auburn twin cities ;) )

Pros: Excellent food, Non-vegan menu items clearly described

Cons: Lisbon Street (better than it used to be though)

Yummy

Their food is always good. The dairy is listed easily in the menu so you know what to avoid if you are vegan. Their spice to your liking. We have gone a few times. I went before and while being vegan and it's been delicious each time.

Pros: Delicious, Good options, Plenty of seating

Friendly & Knowledgeable

Staff here are super nice! Can make any dish vegan for you if you ask. Very knowledgeable on what vegan is as well. Food is tasty, portions are good as well.

Pros: friendly staff, knowledgeable

Cons: Hard to find parking
