An all-vegan tea room/bar/event space/artistic hub dubbed as "Amsterdam Cafe meets Gin Palace" is located in The Harley. Offers a wide range of loose-leaf teas, cold brews, cakes and other tea-themed concoctions including tea-secco and a slushie. To be enjoyed tea-total or alcoholic. All totally vegan - don't miss the Saturday vegan high tea. Situated in a super-chilled, carpeted room with lounge and floor seating, a projector screening visuals and plenty of fairy lights. Hosts events in the little hidden Bohemian room also. Sept 2016 moved out of The Harley and may be looking for a new space.

Amazing vegan afternoon tea

I was taken here for afternoon tea and was amazed. There's a very laid back atmosphere (and literally laidback seating) with quirky furnishings. The afternoon tea was incredible - bottom layer: lots of sandwiches (maybe 3 different kinds) - middle layer: 2 kinds of cakes - top layer: meringues with strawberries and jam.
For drinks there all sorts of tea options but also alcoholic slushie tea choices. One of us had gunpowder tea with rum slushie.

Pros: Unusual drink options, Proper afternoon tea, very reasonable prices

Cons: Full afternoon tea only on Saturdays
