Mook have some explicitly vegan pancakes and can also make a lot of the rest of the menu vegan if you ask. The place is really lovely with a lively and friendly atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The first time we went we got chatting to the manager who said his wife was a vegan and that's why he'd put a vegan option in but he'd been amazed how he'd been descended on by hordes of hungry vegans so was considering expending the vegan options - hooray for that! They also have soy milk for drinks, which not everywhere does!
Read moreThe pancakes themselves are pretty good, as someone mentioned they aren't super fluffy but I think they tasted good and have some interesting an varied tastes. I like it!

No vegan pancakes anymore - Edit
We have been regular customers since MOOK opened (at the time we weren't vegan). Their regular pancakes were fantastic. Since we went vegan, MOOK has become rather disappointing, as their vegan pancakes lacked the right consistency and a convincing taste.
Read moreIn the meantime, they announced they would no longer serve vegan pancakes, as demand wasn't large enough for them to keep that option in the menu.
Sadly, we won't go back there.

No mention of vegan options on the menu but they do serve vegan pancakes. Overpriced for what you get, very dense flat pancakes, overall taste is okay. staff were nice

Great pancakes, great place! - Edit
Mook has a wonderful interior full of natural light and a green plant wall at the back. A great place if you want to spend some time as the service wasn't very fast. Pancakes can be made vegan so make sure to ask. The portions are fairly large so sharing is possible. I had a really enjoyable lunch with family and will definitely return in the future.

Nice vegan pancakes - Edit
Nice waitress who checked in with us whether we liked the pancakes. Warned us in advance that the vegan version of pancakes would not be as "fluffy", and this is indeed the case. The pancake is really flat, and I recognized istantly that they used oat flour. We did not mind the flat pancakes however, because of the warning. It might be wise voor MOOK to experiment with different recipes of vegan pancakes (when I make them at home they always turn out fluffy). Then fluffy and non fluffy pancake lovers can all be satisfied :)

I loved this place. They can do all pancakes vegan! The service was amazing and the pancakes were heavenly! I ordered the vegan banana, maple, walnut, date and shredded coconut pancakes, they did NOT disappoint. I would defiantly recommend this place, they also do savoury pancakes :)

That is nearly all to be said about this place. We were a bit disappointed. The portions were tiny and the taste was nothing special. If you are looking for a hip, trendy pancake place this is for you. If you look for something more then look somewhere else.

We loved that Mook has gluten free and vegan pancake options but their vegan pancakes were too tough and dense. Perhaps they will improve the recipe. It is a very lovely restaurant with friendly staff and a good, simple, menu.

Amazing pancakes - Edit
Although their menu isn't vegan, they do offer to make oatmeal pancakes for vegans with any of the vegan toppings on the menu. You have to ask though! This isn't indicated on the menu. The staff was so so nice, and the restaurant is beautiful! Love it. 5/5
