So yummilicious

My fav go to place for a nice warm bowl of Pho. There’s an unexplainable umami flavors that’s so soothing. Now they are serving a new version with Bamnut mylk - so creamy and delicious still. Hope they can continue in other spots rather than closing down permanently.

Pros: Totally vegan , Air con

Cons: Small space , Closing down soon

Vegan and Allium-Free Fast Food, Must-Try Okonomiyaki Waffles

Edit Apr 2023:
Last day of operations has been extended to 28 May; MCC will be permanently closed from 29 May 2023 onwards. The selection of mains in their menu is now smaller as they prepare for closure. Likewise there are fewer retail items available in the fridge. However there still seems to be quite a number of bubble tea and ice-cream available!

***

Relocated from Fortune Centre, now serving more vegan and allium-free fast food in addition to bubble tea. The signature dish here is definitely the savoury Okonomiyaki Waffles, very unique fusion dish! The other items on the menu are the more standard items we expect from Mong Cha Cha / nomVnom, i.e. burgers and bubble tea. There is a small fridge selling The Clean Addicts mochi muffins, The Happy Bounty coconut yoghurt, Mong Cha Cha ice-cream pints, etc.

Mong Cha Cha Cafe, Singapore

Nice that it's all vegan. Nice vibe. I had the pho (with mock meat removed by request). This cost 9.90 and tasted good. The girl serving was pleasant.

More actual vegetables on the menu would be better; currently it's mostly starch and processed items.

Pros: All vegan, Nice atmo

Cons: Higher nutrition food would be even better

Pholicious, Okonomiyaki waffle, udon

1. Pholicious
A combination of Singapore kuey teow soup and Vietnamese pho, of course can't compare with The Kind Pho, but still good, worth trying.

2. Okonomiyaki waffle
Not bad, worth trying.

3. Tried their udon previously, very flavourful, recommended.

Drinks for every mood and occasion

Full disclosure: I work here, but also have been (and still am) a regular customer and have had a LOT of time to experiment and discover what I like best. Apart from their delicious signature drinks (I especially like the hojicha boba latte, pink guava boba oat milk, chocolate boba bamnut milk, red date roselle oat milk with lychee pops, Berry Tropical Dream, and Banana Strawberry Dream with bamnut milk) and udon (love the shacha, and try the dumpling udon with bamnut milk!), here are my favourite combinations from their DIY menu, all at $5.20 or less:

cold golden flower yuzu oat milk tea, 25% sugar (my absolute favourite) - $5.20
cold golden flower oat milk tea with lychee pops, 25% sugar - $5.00
cold golden flower bamnut milk tea with aloe vera, 25% sugar - $5.00
cold Earl Grey vanilla tea with dark brown sugar boba, 0% sugar - $4.50
cold oolong lychee tea with pineapple nata de coco, 0% sugar - $4.50

warm mugi hazelnut soy milk tea, 0% sugar - $5.20
warm oolong soy milk tea with white konjac pearls, 0% sugar - $5.00

hot mugi hazelnut vanilla tea, 0% sugar - $4.70
hot Earl Grey lychee yuzu tea, 0% sugar - $4.70

Cute cafe

Have you tried this Vegan cafe @mcc_sg located at fortune centre before? Tried twice and will defo try again as love it that they offer MYLK (aka not milk, aka oat/soy milk)! Heh.

We have ordered Earl Grey Mylk Tea 0% sugar w brown sugar pearl for 5.50sgd, whereas Shijie had Organic Strawberry Oat Mylk 25% sugar w pearls for 6.90sgd. We both like my drink better. Shijie commented that his strawberry drink taste like cough syrup and could not finish 😂 (Personal preference yeah. Tho i also cannot, but you might like it maybe? Anw suggest yall to try other drinks on the menu yeah~ Earl grey mylk tea is goooood!)

Pros: Vegan bbt, Vegan ice cream, Everything vegan

Try the earl grey mylk tea

The earl grey mylk tea was good (my husband ordered it). I had the dalgona coffee with oat milk, think the earl grey mylk tea is better!

100% fantastic!

We were so excited to be able to have a vegan bubble tea - FINALLY! My hubby ordered the Rice Creme Latte which is non-caffeinated and so so so creamy and delicious, he said he could drink it all day long. I concocted my own using Earl Grey Yuzu Puree Lychee Pops and that was so good!! I simply LOVE lychee pops because of their sweet yumminess and the way they pop in my mouth - so fun! It was a great treat and we look forward to trying more the next time we go to Fortune Centre. Super friendly staff too, yay!

Pros: It's all vegan bubble tea!, Use of biodegradable products, Friendly and helpful staff

100% vegan BBT & ice cream 🤩

was sooo excited for their opening and they did not disappoint! popped by on the 15th before their official opening and found out they already started serving customers 🤭

the staff are very friendly and the place is well decorated to suit the dreamy theme!

i ordered:

1. earl grey black sugar boba mylk tea $4.90
my fav!! soy milk based. i appreciate how you can really taste the early grey unlike some BBTs that just taste like pure sugar and not the tea they claim to use.
nice chewy pearls! recommended 🤤

the sweetness level is what you can expect from other stores, a little too sweet for me. if you fancy it less sweet, i was told you can customise the sweetness level buy ordering their custom drink!
(earl grey tea french vanilla organic soy mylk dark brown sugar boba)

2. gold flower tea ($2.70) lychee ($1) aloe vera dice ($0.80) = $4.50
i love how there’s an option for changing your desired ice level at no extra charge! ordered this custom drink at 0% sugar level since the aloe adds a kick of sweetness. not bad! i recommend the aloe toppings if you’re ordering a custom drink it’s sooo good 🤤

3. oddly hazy mylk $5.90
this one was alright, wasn’t my personal fav😒it had a strong, slightly creamy hazelnut taste which i’m not a fan of (if you do like hazelnuts you’ll probably love this drink!) i love the chewy toppings thooo heheh

4. uji matcha boba latte $6.90
love it! lovely roasted green tea base with nice chewy pearls! would love if it had a more intense “matcha” taste but nonetheless great!

5. mugi rice cream latte $6.90
my fav, tied with the earl grey boba tea 🥺 tastes kinda like the coffee bean’s ultimate ice blended choco latte i used to frequently order! cool melt-in-your-mouth rice cream!

overall, i highly recommend visiting even if you’re not dairy-free 😫 you’d be surprised how good they are. not only are all items vegan, biodegradable packaging is used and the prices are very affordable! you can even get a further 10% off when you BYO!

Pros: 100% vegan, yummy!, friendly staff, nice ambience , compostable packaging, 10% off BYO
