Great food and service - Edit
Most of the food was great and we tried 2 cocktails which were very tasty and visually appealing. The pictures on the menu helped a lot and we ordered mostly from the pictures.
Read moreThe fried tofu in crispy shell was really fantastic, we loved the flavour and texture.
Also the soup with coconut, lemongrass and vegan shrimp was wonderful, I could eat it all the time.
We weren't big fans of the curry sauce on the katsu fried mushroom, but the rest of the dish was very good.
The waiter was super kind, helpful and patient.
Their card thingie broke down so we couldn't pay with card and we had no cash. So they offered us an option to pay with Paypal which was a nice surprise.
One thing we didn't like, was the poor ventilation in the restaurant. After 1 hour my eyes started tearing from the 'spicy air' and our hair / clothes took on the smell of fried food. Next time I'll sit outside and it should be fine.
They offer daily lunch for 9,50€ that includes a drink so I definitely plan to try it sometime.

Super delicious vegan restaurant - Edit
It is a super nice place with more than polite waiters. Even if my boyfriends caught fire in the candle the food was awesome. Asian vegan food other is delicious but this is even better. Great options as well. The prices are very good and for that quality of food it's really excellent! Wow!

A nice place in a friendly quarter of Leipzig, close to the universities of music and art. Friendly service. They offer delicious vegan food in an Asian fusion style. We had the Kimchi Soup and Taco Bao, as starters, Chubby Noodles and Bowl Clan as main dishes, and Dragon Balls for dessert. Everything was excellent. Arriving for a very early dinner on Saturday, we were happy to be seated without a reservation, so probably reservations are recommended. Cash only, if the bill is less than 50 Euro.

Wir hatten den Coco rouge als Getränk mit Kokosmilch, der ist echt eine 10/10. Ich hatte das Auberginen Reis Gericht, auch eine 10/10 und die Bowl klan war auch sehr lecker. Dicke Empfehlung. (Leider gibt’s kein gratis Leitungswasser)

All hail the mighty Udon! - Edit
Today I learned that you can put filling into tofu and fry the whole thing. It's awesome. Also I had the mighty Udon, a noodle the diameter of my arm in a very tasty sauce. The staff is nice and professional and always shows up in just the right moment. The place is calm and you have some privacy and I like the plants everywhere. Go there and eat a Udon!

Ich war zum Mittwochsbuffet (Reservierung empfohlen!) und sehr positiv überrascht. Für 15€ konnte man sich 1h 15min lang so oft Nachschlag holen, wie man möchte. Es gab Sushi, gedämpfte und frittierte Dumplings, eine Suppe, verschiedenen Reis und verschiedenes Gemüse (teils mit Tofu), Pudding und überbackenes Obst. Was es nicht gab, war mock duck oder ähnlicher Fleischersatz. Das hat mich persönlich aber gar nicht gestört, es war trotzdem abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker.

Wir hatten die Tofu-Hack Röllchen mit Nudeln und den Soul Garden. Ersteres war ohne Geschmack, die Nudeln vertrocknet und die Soße roch ekelhaft, das zweite Gericht war leider auch nur ok. Wir haben in den letzten Monaten viel in asiatisch rein veganen Restaurants gegessen, da lagen leider Welten dazwischen. Als Entschädigung wurde uns immerhin eine Vorspeise angeboten, die ich aber nicht in Anspruch genommen habe.

Die selbstgemachten Limos sowie das Essen waren super lecker. Wir hatten frittierte Dumplings, ein Sushi Don zu dem vorher eine kleine Misosuppe gehörte und als Nachtisch frittierte Bananen mit Vanilleeis.

There are lots of other interesting looking options, from across the starters, through the mains, and the sushi. Several of the sushi rolls are very clever creations, with great flavour and texture combinations. The crunchy MTK tempura was nicely fried, and the Hokkaido was a great mixture of savoury and spicy. The bobo noodles were fresh with lots of vegetables and a lot of soup-like sauce. I want to go back and try some of the other dishes. The staff were very friendly. There is a nice outside seating area, which also makes this dog-friendly. They currently only take cash, and some of the sushi rolls are a bit more pricey, so plan accordingly.

They have lots of outdoor seating and it is cute. The food is delicious! The sushi had lots of sauces and it came with a good amount of pickled ginger. The MTK roll is fried goodness and the Hokkaido roll has inari on top! The bobo noodles came with tons of veggies and was really fresh, but I would swap the beefi for tofu if I order it again.

Hot Pot Erlebnis - Edit
Eher zufällig drauf aufmerksam geworden waren wir dann sehr schnell extrem begeistert. Die hausgemachten Limos und Cocktails waren toll. Das Kimchi hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Und unser erstes Mal Hot Pot essen war das reinste Erlebnis. Wir wurden wunderbar eingewiesen und der Geschmack war der Wahnsinn. Beide Brühen waren toll. Die Einlagen (viel mehr als die Karte vermuten lässt) köstlich. Und der Preis absolut angemessen. Die nächsten Male probieren wir uns dann durch all die anderen tollen Sachen auf der Karte, die uns schon beim Lesen das Wasser im Mund haben zusammenlaufen lassen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Spitzenmäßiges, veganes Restaurant - Edit
Das Monchi ist ein veganes Lokal mit unglaublich schmackhaften Speisen. Neben den zwei sehr leckeren Vorspeisen (Lax Tatar und Komachi) hatten wir als Hauptspeisen die Cha Cha Noodles, bei denen Tofuhack in Betelblättern eingewickelt ist, sowie die Monk Bowl, welche ein pures Erlebnis ist. Kaum zu beschreiben. Das muss man ausprobiert haben.
