Nice grocery store with vegan items

Grabbed a few waters and snacks. Includes cafe, with tofu options, cold bar, some baked goods.

Good for groceries

Great produce & grocery selection. Weak deli with very few vegan options. Found a small container of packaged tofu salad, but it was $14! I’d go somewhere else for prepared food. Salad bar has chickpeas and black beans, otherwise it’s prepared chicken 5 different ways.

Excellent option

We always like to visit the co-ops. This store is super clean, well laid out, with an excellent produce selection.
The hot bar/salad bar vegan options are decent, not as robust as some co-ops we’ve visited but still a welcome option.

Pros: Easy parking, EV charging , Kind staff

Cons: Grab and go vegan options seemed pricey

Large well run coop

This is a large health food store, well laid out, with many options for produce, pre-packaged items, takeout items, etc. There is also a cafe with a lot of seating inside. My friends who live in a nearby town belong to them coop and they love it; we came today to buy food for a picnic, and had a true feast.

Great Vegan Groceries/ OK Vegan Premade Options

Pretty good variety of vegan packaged goods, vegan milks, vegan yogurts, vegan meats, etc. Amazing produce.

The pre made and to go vegan options should be expanded as I have written to them about. They only have one macro vegetarian product and 2 vegan baked goods (be sure to try the vegan thumb print)! They have some vegan options in the deli. Unfortunately all options made there are also in a omnivorous kitchen. They have stopped putting out premade breakfast sandwiches so they have to be ordered. Some staff makes these crazy expensive and others the same prices as premade sandwiches at hot bar. They also stopped stocking Amy’s Dairy free pot pie.

Overall these are very particular complaints and this coop is a great asset to all vegans in the area!!

Pros: Lots of vegan Groceries, Some vegan to go foods , Super friendly staff

Cons: Vegan stuff often sold out: Organic Silk, violife, Omnivorous Kitchen , Wont expand vegan options in some depts

Good option for good, casual meal

Happy Cow turned me on to this option when my go-to vegan place in Keene was closed. It's a standard co-op with groceries, plus a hot food bar, soup and salad bar in the back. There are meat options on the bars, but also clearly labeled vegan options. I selected a vegan pho and an sampling of all of the hot vegan options.

You take your selection to the cash registers in the front and pay. There is a casual open eating area there with tables, or you can carry out. Everything was delicious. I would not hesitate to return here for a meal the next time I'm in Keene.

Pros: Multiple options, Casual

We LOVE This Place!

The groceries are amazing, prepared foods are delicious, and the staff is super friendly - what more could you ask for? It is inexpensive, they have everything you could want or need, and the choices are wonderful for any lifestyle/diet! My husband and I found it when we visited and since we moved here are now regulars!! I highly recommend it!!!

support your local co-op

Hot food bar has vegan options usually one soup and one to two vegan hot meals, also a salad bar.
Unhealthy but vegan cookies, brownies, chocolate pb bars & muffins can be found here as well.

We live the coop!

Such a welcome addition to the area. Friendly, knowledgable staff, good to-go or eat-in food options.

Pros: good variety for a small coop, delicious food, beautiful new building

Good Buffet amid cornocopia of super market

Prepared food is served cafeteria style in midst of active food market. Buffet includes cold and hot offerings, sold by weight at checkout. Vegan offerings are limited but there are always some. Labling of what is vegan and not is clear at the buffet. Prepared sandwiches, packaged preparations, and baked goods are also available, not as clearly labled in that regard. But staff is friendly and helpful. There is wide choice of beverages, but consumption of alcohol on premises is excluded. Take-out food containers are offered as well as standard flatware and metal utensils to eat in a designated area. A quieter pleasant outside eating area is available in good weather.

Pros: Community based coop, Excellent quality, Reasonalby priced

Cons: Often noisey ambiance in doors, Limited selection of vegan hot dishes, Cost is determined at checkout
