Could be better - Edit
Swannanoa is not a vegan Mecca by any stretch. I had an hour to kill and came to Moments for a bite to eat. They have a tofu scramble sandwich and one vegan pastry option, plus the usual plant milks for coffee drinks. The space is kind of fun, with a big room and lots of board games.

best coffee ever - Edit
im not sure why, but this is the best coffee ive ever had, and ive had a lot, including throughout Asheville. the owner is often working behind the counter and runs an attached catering business. the tofu sandwich is delicious but not always in stock. i wish they had vegan scones and other baked goods, based on how good the coffee and sandwich are. i havent tried the vegan bars, but theres always 1-2 kinds.
