Vegan food! - Edit
Ran around Genova for 2 kilometers with luggage today to find vegan food. The pasticceria were all closed for holiday, maybe the local circus? But this place was open and had 2 vegan croissants (1 multi grain, 1 apricot marmalade), 2 vegan carrot cake, and 3 vegan sandwiches left at 11 am. I did a full sweep because I was so hungry.

had this really good vegan sandwich at moka cafe in palermo station and I wasn’t expecting much because i’m not always the biggest fan of vegetable sandwiches unless they include avocado, i prefer things with tofu or meat alternatives etc.
Read morebut i was very pleasantly surprised with this one, it had some sort of hummus-textured sauce, aubergines, sun dried tomatoes and lettuce. the aubergines were cooked to PERFECTION, the seasoning, the texture- it was great, would 100% recommend.
this apricot croissant was in moka cafe at palermo centrale station and was so so good!
i’m not a fan of apricot but, honestly, would 100% recommend because even I liked it!

Got a vegan sandwich containing hummus and veggies. Was a bit bland but am happy to have something to eat on the train.
