I wish I had taken pictures, but I was so into those arepas! I had the plant-based meat (when I asked, they mentioned it is Gardein), which did have vegan cheese (I’m thinking Daiya). It was seasoned beautifully with just enough heat. One of the best I’ve had! I had a tempeh taco as well, which was also good. Knowledgeable and super friendly, great vegan options! Definitely recommend!

When I mentioned that o was vegan, the lovely owner introduced herself and told me that everything on the menu can be made vegan (she is vegan herself! ). The tempeh is local and organic, and there is a plant based meat option also. I had the arepas with tempeh and they were absolutely delicious. My husband had Mahi tacos with a very generous portion of fish, and loved them. Would give 5 stars if the app would allow!

From tacos to nachos to burritos to arepas! Lots of vegan options to get tempeh or plant based protein! We loved the arepas! We went back twice on our trip! We also got the tacos and the burrito. All super tasty!

Vegan friendly menu. Knowledgeable staff. Great taste. Lots of flavor. Cool place. Perfect combination for a great lunch. Had the burrito with tempeh and added some of their hot sauce. Chips come with is but have to purchase a salsa. Vegan tacos have a soft tortilla on the outside and crispy inside. Added vegan cheese. Perfect. Had to get 2. One is not enough so beware!

We ordered nachos, burrito, taco, and arepas all with vegan cheese and plant based meat crumbles. Note: the nachos can’t be done with cheese as it won’t melt but they can veganize it by subbing the queso with guac and it was delicious. The arepa was my favorite!
The plant based meat was seasoned on the spicier side, so those that are sensitive, please be aware of that. My kids 7 and 5 years old said it was spicy but managed to still eat almost everything.
There is outdoor seating available, no shade.

My husband said these are the best vegan tacos he’s ever had. We ordered 3 each because we are used to skimpy tacos, but these were not skimpy! The vegan tacos were deliciously seasoned and we loved how there is a corn tortilla nestled with cheese between it and the soft tortilla. Definitely worth a visit if you’re vegan!

Had the tofu and avocado burrito with vegan cheese and a side of the verde salsa (spicyyy) and it was incredible ! Filling and full of flavor. Got a second to take home for later. Cashier was really nice and very helpful !

You have some options here as a vegan. Be sure to say vegan so you get the vegan sauces. My favorite are the black bean tacos. And the employees are all wonderful.

Covid 19 is happening so ordered to go. The tofu crumbles and tempeh tacos were spot on! Very good even a hour later after we got to a room. The sauce was perfect.

Fantastic & easily veganizable burritos, bowls, tacos & salads. You can add local tempeh or tofu to your meal, or keep it simple with just black beans. If you ask the cashier to make your order vegan, they will ask if you want to sub guac for cheese - DO IT! One of our favorite spots to stop for lunch, but they’re open all day too.

Disturbing treatment of female employee. I refuse to eat here again. - Edit
Was excited to come here after seeing all the reviews. There was a line when I got inside, which I didn’t mind since I wasn’t in a rush. There were two men cooking in the back and a young woman cashiering, delivering orders and cleaning/restocking. As I stood in line for a few minutes I heard one of the men in particular be very aggressive with the cashier for absolutely no reason. Other customers in line seemed to look uncomfortable as well as this interaction happened. I ended up ordering my burrito and was sitting inside the dining room waiting for my order. The cashier called someone named Bill and another person named Phil inadvertently claimed the order (the music is really loud inside and this was an older couple) when it was discovered that they had claimed the wrong order the cashier took the order back and one of the men in the kitchen started cursing and really laying into her (none of the situation that I witnessed was her fault at all). This brings me to my review and my point. I will not eat here again, my family member who lives in the area was equally appalled and won’t eat here again. If you treat women like we don’t deserve respect don’t expect this woman to patronize your establishment, the food is mediocre and not worth sacrificing my morals for. I left my lunch feeling uneasy and very badly for this employee. There’s no reason at all to ever treat another human being in such a manner.

Everything on the menu can be made vegan. As other reviewers mentioned, it’s so nice that they do an even swap of cheese for guacamole without an up charge (it just makes sense). We had the tofu nachos and a tempeh burrito - both were delicious! The mojo sauce takes it to the next level of deliciousness, too! Highly recommend trying it out :)

Can’t have the tacos because it has cheese in the shell, however you can have a burrito or a burrito bowl with tempeh or ground and seasoned tofu. The tofu is so authentic it was hard to believe it was vegan. The staff was very helpful in making sure our food was all the way vegan and even gave us the option to sub cheese for guacamole which was amazing. Hope your hungry because this thing is huge! Worth every penny!
